Chapter 24 : Pressure

I'm putting some books inside my locker before i go home, i've been so busy these days because the final exam is coming, there's a lot of things to do and prepare and of course i have to study more,

To beat that girl and take Jaemin back from her.

I will prove to him that i'm better than her and she has nothing compared to me, but Jaemin already go to Australia with his family and i know the reason why.

His parents wanted him to go study abroad for his future, his family owned the biggest hospital in Korea, that's why they want him to be a doctor and manage the hospital for my parents.

H told it to me before he left, there's something in me tell me that this is a good thing, i will have more time to take my revenge on her when Jaemin is not here.

While i'm still thinking deeply, someone tapped on my shoulder which made me flinch, when i turned around, it's my brother, Jaehyun, he looked at me for a while before he said,

"It's time to go home, why are you still here ?"

I just smiled at him and said,

"Yeah, it's just that.....like what you saw, i need to put some books in my locker."

He took his bike and drive me home, our family isn't rich enough to buy a car and i don't like taking the bus to go home cause i feel a bit uncomfortable when i'm surrounded by many people.

When we arrived at home, i knew my mom is cooking in the kitchen cause i already smelled her food from the living room, my dad is still watching Tv, me and Jaehyun-hyung then go to the kitchen.

We sat down at the table, then my mom suddenly said while she's still cooking,

"How's school today ?"

Looks like she's preferring to me, i gulped and took a deep breath before i said,

"Yeah....it's....normal."

She continued to ask,

"Nothing special ?"

Then she bring the food and put them on the table, she sat down and looked at both of us, i just nodded in stead of answering cause i can't find a right word to say or i might say something wrong which will make her mad.

Then we started eating, suddenly i realized that dad is not eating with us, i then turned to ask mom,

"Why dad is now eating ?"

Mom just sighed and said,

"He already have lunch at the company."

But then she looked at me and continued,

"What about your study this month, anything good ?"

I looked at Jaehyun-hyung before i said,

"Everything is fine, like always, why you ask so ?"

She just smiled then looked at me and said,

"I just want to check on you, cause you know Jaemin is always a top student, so i want you to be like him."
