Chapter 25 : Failure

•Two months later•

•••••••••••Jeongmin's POV•••••••••••

Tomorrow is a very important day to us, it's our final test day, i've been practicing hard these two months, along with Karina and NingNing, although she has just transferred here but she also has to take the test, so me and Karina is helping her a lot in practice playing the piano.

We're in the music room in my house now, there're a lot of musical instruments here which my parents have used, there're also two grand pianos here too.

NingNing is trying to remember all the note in the piano piece that i composed for her and try to play it on my mom's piano, while Karina is practicing together with me with dad's piano.

These pianos of my parents are the best ones in Korea, so if me or my friends broke them or even a small scratch on them, i'll have a big trouble with my parents.

We're practicing smoothly when Karina suddenly make a mistake, she played the wrong note which cause a horrible sound, i then looked at her and asked,

"Hey, what's wrong ?"

But she just shook her head and continued playing, i think she needed time to practice it by herself and i don't want to bother or disturb her, so i went to check on NingNing, she's still studying the piece.

I then sat down beside her and said,

"You can't play the piano if you study the notes by heart, you need to feel and follow the rhythm of the song, it'll be easier."

She smiled and said,

"It's harder than i think because i've never played the piano before, but thank you for helping me."

I smiled back at her and said,

"I know you can do it."

Then i go back to Karina, she's still thinking deeply about something that i can't tell what is it, i sat down beside her, but she didn't have any reaction, then i asked her once again,

"Is there anything that's bothering you ?"

She sighed and finally speaks up,

"I'm just nervous about tomorrow test, i don't think i can do it, cause you know..... beyond my ability."

I then pat her back and convinced her,

"Don't worry, i believe in you and i know you're the best class president ever."

She just sighed, NingNing then approached us and said,

"Hey, let's eat something, i'm already hungry now."

I'm also a bit hungry too so we headed to the kitchen, since this is my house so i decided to made food for them, while they're just sitting at the table waiting for me.

After a while, i bring the food to the table and sat down with them, NingNing immediately started eating when she saw the food, she must be very hungry, me and Karina then also started eating.

Suddenly Karina said,

"I'm still worry about the test tomorrow, i'm not ready for it, you know....i'm bad at playing piano."

NingNing then pat her back and convinced her,

"Oh common, i'm even worse than you but i believe i can do it, then why are you worry ?"

Then i said,

"Yeah....nothing to worry, i once told you to believe in yourself right ?"

She just nodded and continued eating, i also feel nervous too, it's our last test in this year so i don't think it'll be easy to get high score.
