Chapter 9 : A trip to Jeju ( Part 1 )

The moment we arrived at Jeju, i feel a lot better and more comfortable because of the atmosphere here, it's so warm and cool, although i heard that it's going to rain a little bit in the evening.

We take a bus to go to the hotel where we're going to leave in during this trip, now i think that i have gained back a bit energy. When we arrived at the hotel, we're divided into boys' room and girls' room. Me, Winter, Karina and Yeji will be in the same room, Karina helped me to bring my suitcase inside, there're two beds in this room, me and Karina will share the bed next to the window, while Winter and Yeji will sleep on the other bed opposite us.

After taking a shower, i decided to just wear a blank yellow t-shirt with a pair of jeans, i take my white jacket and gather with the other.

We're going to visit a orphanage first, our school has prepared a lot of gifts for the children there, this is my first time doing charity like this. When we arrived at there, i can see the kids are waiting for us, they look very happy, i give a box of toys to a girl who's running towards me, i smiled and said,

"Here are some gifts from our school to you."

She hugged me tightly and said,

"Thank you, let's go inside, we also prepare something for you too."

Just by the way she talked, i guess that she's at the age of 10 to 12, but she's already as tall as my waist. When we go inside the orphanage, there's a lot more kids here, but then a woman who i think is the same age of my mom now, she approached us and said,

"I heard that you all of you came from a very famous art school so i've prepared a piano and a lot more music instruments for you."

When she said that, Mrs.Kim turned to us, but more like she's looking at me, she said,

"Jeongmin-ah, come and play a song for the kids."

I look around and saw that everyone is looking at me, so i took a deep breath and approached the piano, i sat down and started playing my mom's famous song 'Moonlight dance'.

When I played the first tune, everyone applauded, everyone recognized this song, because it's already so popular, this is also the song my mother played when she first taught me to play the piano, also the song she composed herself.

After i was done playing, everyone again clapped their hands for me, i quickly approached Karina, but she just whispered to my ear,

"Not bad, it's your mom's famous song right ?"

I just smiled and nodded my head, after having lunch, we decided to take the kids to the beach, the girl I gave as a present just now kept following me around, so I stopped and bent down to ask her,

"What's your name ?"

She smiled sweetly at me and said,

"I'm Na Jaekyung."

When i heard her name, i feel a bit confused at first, i think i've heard this surname before, but i can't remember, at least for now. But then suddenly someone tap on my shoulder which makes me flinch, when i turned around, it's Jaemin who's standing behind me, suddenly he said,

"What're you doing here, everyone is already at the beach now, quickly."

So i grabbed Jaekyung's hand and followed Jaemin to the beach with the others, we sat down on the sand, i take off my shoes and put my legs into the water, it's not as cold as what i thought at first, it's so warm, suddenly Jaemin sat down beside me, but i just ignored him and keep looking at the sea, it's so beautiful, the reflection of the sun on the water is so shimmering, i wish my parents were here with me, my family usually go to Jeju every summer, but maybe this year is different, they're so busy with their schedules, i'm also have a lot of things to do at school too, so there's no way for me and my parents have a trip together like before.
