chapter 12

wooyoung's pov

After waking up wrapped around in San's arms, Wooyoung wouldn't wish for anything else at that moment. He was still slightly hating himself for showing his weakness once again in front of someone but this time, it was different. It wasn't just someone. It was his boyfriend, Choi San, who didn't judge his behavior in any strange way. Instead, there he was, laying in bed with him playing with his messy morning hair and giving him soft kisses on the mole he had under one of his eyes.

"What's gotten into you this morning?", Wooyoung asked after San kissed his mole for the tenth time now.

"What, I'm not allowed to admire my beautiful boyfriend?", San answered giving him another soft kiss.

"You know, that's not my only mole. I have one right here too.", Wooyoung was showing the mole that was on his lip.

"You want a kiss here?", San said brushing his thumb over Wooyoung's lips while holding his chin with the rest of his hand.

He nodded his head as San slowly started to pull him closer. Wooyoung closed his eyes waiting for San to kiss him but nothing happened. After he opened his eyes he saw San opening his suitcase to get a change of clothes.

"C'mon. Not fair!!", Wooyoung was sulking, still sitting on the bed comfortably and waiting for San to kiss him. He pouted his lips which made San chuckle a little bit.

"Wooyoungie~ wants kisses. Right now!", Wooyoung started acting cute in front of him.

"No, no, no please. Fine, I'll kiss you but please don't do that again.", he said and gave Wooyoung a quick peck on the lips which made him happy that he won this time (and he will definitely do it again).

yeji's pov (important for the storyline!!)

"Do you think that the boys woke up by now? I really want to go and check out the beach.", Ryujin was doing her makeup in front of the big mirror they had in their room while Yeji was sitting on the bed, clearly zoned out.

"Hello, earth to Yeji, are you there?", Ryujin started snapping her fingers, trying to get Yeji back to reality.

"Oh sorry, I zoned out.", Yeji finally answered. 

"Let me guess. Wooyoung?", Ryujin knew her roommate too well.

"Kind of. I don't know. I really shouldn't be thinking about him."

"Yeji, you're a beautiful and HOT young lady. I'm sure there are guys who would kill to be with you and Wooyoung isn't one of them. We talked about this before.", Ryujin tried to comfort her friend making her blush from all the compliments she received. 

"I know, but I just can't do it! I can't stop liking him, it's like he locked himself in my heart and doesn't let anyone else in nor does he get out of it.", Yeji was frustrated.

"That's a really...creative way to describe how you feel. Okay, I've had enough. Choose on of the boys EXCEPT San or Wooyoung of course. We're going to make him head over heels for you.", Ryujin always had her way with crazy ideas.

"What, no, we're not doing that. They all seem so nice, I don't want to use them just to get over Wooyoung. Especially Mingi...", before she finished her sentence, Ryujin started talking again.

"Okay so, Mingi it is! And relax, you're not going to use him. I'm not saying you should date him but like, try to get to know him better. Maybe you start liking him!"

"Ugh, fine.", Yeji answered making Ryujin satisfied.

san's pov

It was a beautiful sunny day on Jeju Island even though they were in the middle of winter at that moment. But since Jeju was far south of Seoul, it was definitely warmer than the capital and the winter was usually dry and clear. It was also a good day to take a walk down the beach. The friends gathered in front of the guesthouse and decided to stroll down the beach before they go get some breakfast. 

"Did everyone sleep well?", Yunho asked after arriving last, stretching himself before he put his arm around Mingi.

"Looks like someone had a good night sleep. I couldn't sleep for a while because for some reason, I heard some strange noises from the room next to ours. Guess the walls aren't very thick here.", Yeosang said and everyone immediately looked at Wooyoung and San, who realized that San was indeed being kind of loud while they were making out last night. 

"Don't know."

"Couldn't be us.", San and Wooyoung said, almost at the same time, before they finally started walking towards the beach that was very close to their guest house, making the others follow them.

The Jeju Island trip was a supposed to be a way to get both friend groups to know each other a bit better and for now, it was working very well. As they were walking down the beach, new friendships were being built.

Yeosang was walking with Ryujin, who he thought of as a pretty cool and laid back person even though he didn't really like her in the beginning. Yunho, Mingi and Yeji were walking together, laughing as they were telling Mingi how drunk he was last night. Wooyoung and San were walking behind their friends while holding their hands.

"I'm glad we decided to walk down the beach together. It was kind of weird last night because we aren't really used to hanging out like this together, but I think that we make a pretty cool friend group!", Wooyoung commented.

"I agree. I wish Seonghwa and Hongjoong would be here too.", San added.

"Seonghwa is your brother, right?", Wooyoung asked him.

"Step brother. But we're really close so I might as well say that he's actually my real big brother. I also have another step brother, Seonghwa hyung's real older brother but he chose to live with Seonghwa's mom after their parents got divorced.", San was telling him as they were both watching the beautiful blue sea that was in front of them.

"What about your real father then? I suppose you live with your step father now.", Wooyoung asked, not knowing that what he asked was a really sensitive topic for San.

"I'm sorry, maybe I shouldn't have asked that.", he quickly realized but San didn't mind his boyfriend's curiosity.

"It's okay, Woo. He left me and my mother when I was ten. With another woman.", San's gaze suddenly turned dark.

"Oh...it must have been hard for you and your mom. I wish I was there for you.", Wooyoung said lowering his head.

"We didn't even know each other then, silly! I wasn't even living in Seoul. Don't worry about it, Woo. I'm happy that we met now.", San comforted his boyfriend who was clearly sad after hearing everything San went through.

San  softly grabbed Wooyoung's chin with his hand and caressed his cheek while Wooyoung was looking at him with eyes full of love and San just wished that this moment could last forever. He wanted to stay on this beach forever with the people he loved the most, not thinking about anything else and not having any other worries in their lives. He wanted Wooyoung to heal from what he didn't talk about and that was the biggest worry he had in that exact moment but he tried so hard to hide it from him. 

"Ew, no, a cute couple, why did I turn around..", Yeosang said jokingly after turning around to see San and Wooyoung looking at each other so lovingly.

"Hurry up you two, the girls are getting hungry.", Yunho said and they all went to have some breakfast together.

The rest of their trip went pretty well. With all the fun activities they have planned, the friend group arrived back to campus well rested, ready for another school semester that was about to start very soon.
