seonghwa's pov
Seonghwa and Hongjoong didn't really speak to each other since Hongjoong confessed his feelings to him which made things between them extremely awkward. That was also the main reason they didn't go to Jeju Island with the others, they just didn't want to ruin their vacation just because they were in a complicated situation. But the situation wasn't really that complicated, Seonghwa thought. The reason why he was "avoiding" Hongjoong wasn't because he didn't like him. It was because after all this time while Seonghwa was busy talking about Wooyoung, his best friend was forced to listen to him and kept getting hurt over and over again. That's what concerned Seonghwa, the fact that he maybe hurt his best friend's feelings by not acknowledging them sooner.
The truth is, Hongjoong was always there for him. Despite his nasty temper and the way he would get annoyed every time Seonghwa would joke around him calling him a minion, Hongjoong was someone who Seonghwa thought of as the person he would spend the rest of his life with. Liking him wasn't really necessary because he already had a special place in his heart, but now, Seonghwa managed to ruin everything. Why did he tell him that he thought of him as a good friend only, when he didn't. He was too blinded by his little crush on Wooyoung to realize that the person who he truly loved all this time was right in front of his nose. He was on the verge of crying when his roommate Seokwoo entered the room.
"Hey Seonghwa...are you okay?", Seokwoo asked after seeing Seonghwa's teary eyes.
"No, I'm fine, just...dust. We should really clean this place.", he was lying, they cleaned their room a few days ago.
"If you say so. Also, Hongjoong was standing in front of the door a few seconds ago. I told him that you're inside but he just said that you probably don't want to see him right now. Is everything okay between the two of you?", Rowoon asked but didn't get a proper answer from Seonghwa who jumped off his bed and exited their room.
"I'll tell you later, but right now, I have to find Hongjoong!", he told his roommate before leaving the room.
He couldn't have gone far, right? It happened just a minute ago. Seonghwa was running around campus like a fool, he didn't even put his jacket on and it was still very cold outside. Joong probably left by now, he thought to himself. Suddenly, he didn't feel cold anymore.
"You always go out unprepared. Do you really want to catch a cold so bad?", it was Hongjoong who took off the jacket he was wearing and gave it to Seonghwa.
"Joong...", Seonghwa said with a sad tone in his voice.
"What's with the sad tone? It's not like we're not friends anymore or something.", Hongjoong was trying to joke around, like he always did.
"Maybe we really shouldn't be friends anymore.", the words that left Seonghwa's mouth surprised Hongjoong.
"Hwa, no. I promise I'll try my best to somehow lose my feelings for you but is it really necessary to stop being friends?", Hongjoong looked scared.
"I didn't mean it like that."
"Then how did you mean it?", Hongjoong looked at him with his cute brown eyes before Seonghwa pulled him closer and kissed him.
"Like this.", he said as Hongjoong kissed him back.
san's pov
"So where is Yunho again?", San asked Wooyoung who was focused on whatever he was doing at that moment on his laptop.
"He went out with Jihyo, the girl from your department.", Wooyoung answered without lifting his head, not even once.
"Should we tell Mingi?", San was concerned about his best friend who clearly liked Yunho a lot.
