we stayed up as someone we never expected to become.
A close friend?
A one-call away buddy?
A happy-go-lucky partner?
A lover?
In an instant, we become one.
We shared the laughter we never intended to.
Together we dance in different melodies, too.
We played dumb until we got numb and then burst into laughter 'til we lost some air.
