Blake’s POV
The only noise being made was Scooter’s fingers taping on the elevator’s railing and the ding that would sound when we passed a new floor of the building. I watched the number’s light up, telling us which floor we were on.
“So, Blake, how old are you?” Scooter asked meekly, trying to make casual conversation.
I fidgeting with my shirt and answered “17. Almost 18.”
“Same as Justin.” He mumbled, somewhat to himself. We didn’t talk for the rest of the ride to the 19th floor.
“I have to make a call quickly, but just wait in my office until I get back.” Scooter said when we reached a door that had his name on it. He pointed to it to tell me to let myself in. Then he turned the other way to make his phone call. I didn’t open the door until he was out of view.
The office was full of awards, papers, and pictures hanging on the walls. There were pictures of him and Justin throughout the years, Scooter with other celebrities, and pictures of just Justin. A case full of various awards caught my eyes and I walked over to study it. I honestly couldn’t believe how many awards were on display. Had Justin really won all of these?
“Seriously, they let another fan up here?” a husky voice rang through the room. I turned around quickly, only for my face to be met with someone’s strong and hard chest. I looked up to see who I had just trampled, only to see the mysterious figure’s eyes already on me.
“What would you like me to sign, your boobs? Or how about your ass?” the boy said with a smirk and a cocky wink. That’s when I knew who I had just met. It was Justin Bieber. And he obviously didn’t know what I was doing here.
Before I could speak, the door to the office swung open to reveal Scooter. He saw how close we were and immediately smiled.
“I see you two have met! That’s great!” he exclaimed as he walked fully inside and closed the door behind him.
“Oh, we have.” Justin said smugly as he stepped back and sat in one of the chairs in front of a desk that I assumed belonged to Scooter. “You really should stop letting sexy fans up here Scooter!” he said without his eyes leaving my body.
“Justin, she isn’t a fan. She may be your next girlfriend.” Scooter said in what was supposed to be a whisper. But I still heard it. Justin’s face changed from a flirty and suggestive look to a serious one. He looked me up and down slowly, which made me nervous.
“She’ll work.” He said before standing up to walk out the door.
“Justin, hold up. She hasn’t agreed to anything yet.” Scooter said in a serious tone while giving Justin a look. Justin must have understood what the look meant because he let out an exasperated sigh and walked back to standing right in front of me.
“Hi. I’m Justin.” He said, looking directly into my eyes. For some reason, it made me incredibly nervous.
“Blake.” I responded. My phone started playing its annoying, not to mention loud, ringtone the second finished saying my name. I swiftly pulled it out of my pockets while I shot Scooter an apologetic look. He nodded as if to tell me it was alright while Justin scoffed. My mom’s name came flashing across the screen.
“I’m really sorry but it’s my mom. Would it be alright if I took this?” I asked.
“Go right ahead.” Scooter replied quickly.
“Rude.” Justin coughed. Scooter picked up on the rude comment and shot Justin an angry look. I didn’t stay to see what happened next.
“Hey mom.” I said coldly into my phone when I was completely in the hallway.
