Justin’s POV
“We have 10 minutes before you have to leave for sound check.” Emma warned as we walked into the empty tour bus. I nodded and fell face first into the couch with a low groan. “You seem stressed. Is something wrong?” Emma asked from the smaller couch opposite the one I was laying on.
“Just relationship stuff.” I mumbled, not really wanting to talk about it.
“What do you mean?” Emma asked, not letting the subject go away.
“I haven’t talked to Blake since Monday. It’s been a whole 4 days!” I sighed.
“Well, have you tried calling her?” Emma asked. I rolled my eyes at her question before responding.
“Only about 100 times. She never answers or calls me back. Same thing with texts too.” I said, shoving my face deeper into the couch cushion.
“Wow, it seems like she doesn’t really care about you.” she said, her voice a little louder, making me think she was closer to me.
“I doubt it.” I said. For some reason, Emma just rubbed me the wrong way and I wasn’t about to have a heart to heart with her or share any deep feelings.
“I think what you need is a girl who will care about you. And your needs.” She said in a whisper as I felt her breath on my face.
“What the –“ I said, before being cut off by a mouth taking my earlobe with their teeth. My eyes instantly shot open and I stood up from the couch in a flash.
“You know it’s true Justin. You need someone better.” Emma said while taking a step closer to me. I stood frozen, in confusion. “Someone like me.” she whispered before forcefully grabbing my neck and pulling her lips to mine. Her tongue tried to push through my closed lips instantly.
“Emma!” I yelled as I pushed her off of me with a small force. She smirked and leaned in again. “Stop!” I yelled right before her lips touched mine again.
“What’s wrong?” she asked seductively.
“I have a girlfriend! That’s what’s wrong!” I screamed in her face.
“Not anymore!” she screamed back.
“What do you mean?” I asked while furrowing my eyebrows.
“I blocked her damn number from your phone! You didn’t get her texts or calls and vice versa!” Emma yelled quickly, but covered her mouth with her hand right after it slipped out.
“What did you just say?” I asked slowly and as calmly as I could. She didn’t respond, she just looked at me with wide eyes.
“I couldn’t resist. You know I’m much better for you!” she finally said while taking another step closer to me.
“Get away from me!” I screamed, taking a step back.
“You little fucker! You want me, admit it!” she screamed so loud that her face turned bright red.
“In case you didn’t already know, you’re fired. You have until the end of the day to get your stuff and leave.” I said with a monotone. I turned without another look and stalked off to find Scooter and tell him to find a new, male assistant.
“Have fun with your little good for nothing slut of a girlfriend!” she called after me. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and searched through my contacts until I found Blake’s. I instantly fixed it so that she was unblocked.
