Blake’s POV

Brian kept driving. Driving and smirking at me through the mirror hanging on the front window of his car. I didn’t know what to do. I just sat there, like a lost puppy. Shaking in fear. I couldn’t stop shaking. I couldn’t comprehend what was happening. It was like I was paralyzed.

The car came to an abrupt halt and Brian got out only to open my door and forcefully pull me by my right arm to a small shack near the top of a deserted beach. There were rocks next to the small shed, but that was it. There was nothing around, no houses or other buildings. No one to hear me scream.

Brian pushed me through the door. There was a single chair in the center of the open room. In one corner was an overflowing bag of clothes. In another corner were various objects. There were ropes, knives, and crow bars. He quickly pushed me further into the room, towards the chair.

“Sit here and don’t move.” Brian warned before pushing me down into the chair and walking to the corner with the ropes and things. His back was turned to me and I watched him with my tear filled eyes. I wasn’t tied down or anything so I slowly began to reach into my bag which was still attached to my shoulder. My hand started searching for my cell phone as quickly and quietly as I could. When my fingers found it, I started pulling it out slowly. Brian still hadn’t turned around and my heart was beating a million times a minute with the fear of him turning around at any moment.

I got the phone out of my bag and placed it on my lap so I could dial 911. My fingers touched the 9 on the touch screen while my eyes were glued to Brian’s back. I glided my thumb to the 1 and pressed it lightly. The moment my finger lifted of the number to press it again, Brian turned around with an evil smirk and rope and a crow bar in his hand. The smirk vanished when he looked down and saw the phone in my hand.

“You little bitch!” he said while running towards me. Before I could move or notice what was happening next, Brian was towering over me and ripped the phone out of my hands. A shriek escaped my mouth and a rippling pain shot through my side and abdomen when Brian swung at me with the crow bar he had been carrying. It hit me on my left ribcage and I could practically feel the ribs breaking.

He grabbed my wrists and pulled them behind the chair to tie them together. The motion made my ribcage burn inside of my body and I let out another shriek from the pain in my side and the rope burning my wrists. He moved around to the front of me and started tying my ankles together. The ropes burned my ankles too and the tears I had been trying to hold in escaped my eyes like a waterfall.

“Why are you doing this?” I whispered through the pain and tears. Brian let out a cynical laugh and continued tying the rope, tighter this time. When he was done, he stood up to admire his work. I looked up at him through my tears and he looked right back with a smile. His face dropped after a second and he lifted his hand in the air. The air left my lungs when I felt his large hand make contact to my cheek.

Before I could pick up my face to see what was coming next, I felt my skin slice open, right where his hand had hit. The blood felt warm against my cheek as it spilled out of the open cut. Brian stood above me again with a bloody knife in his hand and my phone in the other. He glanced down at my phone for a second, only to notice something and stare back at the screen.

“Well what do we have here? A text message from Justin.” He said while reading the text. “He wants to know where you are. How cute.” he said before kicking me in the shins. The power of his kick made the chair fly backwards and I screamed out in pain the second I was stationary again.

“You know what, I think it’s only fair for Justin to hear his girl scream. Why don’t we call him?” Brian said while pressing a button on my phone, making it turn to speaker phone. It rung once before Jusitn’s voice filled the room.
