Jak stormed out of the house, annoyed with what had just happened, he stopped, sat down and thought about what he saw in the hills, (it can't have been enclave, could it?) he thought, Jak got up and started to walk out the gate of the house, he was wondering who to go to, who'd listen? He then realised, that the problem he'd been wanting to get away from would be the only ones that can help him search for what that could have been. Walking over too the NCR main base he thought what King of bandit camp that's no supermutent could have extremely heavy armour like it, and they knew when to stop, if it were raiders they were either really lucky and smart or it was the enclave, after all there were hundreds of shelters they hid themselves in that span the whole of the US.
After what felt like a day of walking Jak got to the NCR base, he introduced himself and what he saw, they knew of the event he had described, and they questioned him from beginning to now, even the part of the woman killing herself, they didn't understand what the enclave would want with slaves, the only thing they did know was that they were there as a form of law for when the war ended, it then dawned on them. If it is the enclave then they would have assumed that they were bandits or raiders, I mean they have the cloths that show bandits and raider. But Jak wasn't convinced with there responce, he thinks there's a bigger picture, something they're all missing, something big, he asked if there was a library for all there holotapes and archived stuff on the enclave, which the NCR did and an officer took Jak to.
On their way there the officer said "knock yourself out with the info, we sure as hell can't decipher it, its all in codes and half of it you can't hear due to the yelling, it's almost as if there trying to rid the wasteland (the officer laughs) nah im just kidding, but then again in this day and age who knows". As they got there Jak thanked the officer and the officer went away, Jak had a suspicion on the officer but didn't really care too much to bring them up to the NCR so he started to dig through the archives, searching high and low to find any clue as to what they could want why they need it, 4 holotapes and 14 logbooks later he noticed that they said "rid the wasteland of all pests and threats to the enclave", so what was he? Pest or a threat? Something didn't seem right, he looked into more logbooks and holotapes, until he found one that stood out, a wastelander had broken into there ranks and managed to convince them that he was with them and that bandits took his stuff, they believed it and they said "the pests and threats of the wasteland are of great endangerment to the enclave I'm sure your aware, so we need to rid them and if your getting defeated by them so easily, then maybe you can't be here, we only look for the strong, not the weak, so you will be exiled for 3 days survive the 3 days you may come back die or get caught by us you will be killed, you have 4 hours to get away from here and hide, we will find you, and eradicate you like the pest you are".
Jak had found it, if there back New Californian is in danger, grave danger. The enclave if they are back pose a greater threat to them than the Brother Hood potentially be. Jak must find people willing to risk everything for the cost of the wasteland and everyone who lives in it even the law, because end of the day there just following instructions from a corrupt source, that pays them to do it.
