Memory Lost Chapter 17

Marie's P.O.V.

I wasn't sure if I was ready to see Brian but my wolf was; she wanted her mate. I hear a knock on the door and I somehow knew that it was him. I don't get up off the couch fearing the worst. I see out of the corner of my eye Rose getting up off the couch.

"You ready?" She says.

I wanted to shake my head but instead I was nodding.

"Not really but I need to do this." I say.

Rose heads over to the door and opens it. I slowly stand up and I turn around to face Brian. My wolf was going crazy, she wanted to come out and meet our but I was fighting her. I see Brian walking over towards me.

"Ryan and I are going to leave to give you two some space." I hear Rose say.

They leave the house and now it's just Brian and I.

I swallow loudly. "Are you going to reject me?" I ask.

Brian doesn't say anything so I look at him to see that he's shocked.

"I would never reject you. You don't know long I've been waiting for you." He says.

I began crying; I was happy that my mate had accepted me even though I've been hiding from him for a long time. I never noticed that Brian had begun to make his way toward me until I felt his arms wrap around me. I gasp but then I wrap my around him.

"Do you accept me?" He asks.

"Yes, I accept you." I say after we let go of each other.

Brian strokes my cheek. "You have made me the happiest man alive." He says.

I let out a giggle.

"Are you okay with me living here?" He asks.

I nod my head eagerly. "This is our house." I reply.

I was so happy that I would be spending the rest of my life with this man, my mate.

Brian kisses my lips. "Do you want to come to my old place so I can pack my stuff?" He asks.

I nod my head. "Just let me get my shoes." I reply.

I went into my...I mean our bedroom and grabbed my shoes. I went back into the living room, sat down on the couch and began putting my shoes on.

"Let me put them on for you." He says.

I look up to see Brian sitting on the floor, putting my shoes on. After my shoes were on, Brian stands up and he helps me up. We walk out the door and towards my car. I made my way towards the driver side.

"Let me drive." I hear Brian say.

I hand him the keys and then he leads me over to the passenger side, he helps me in and then he heads over to the other side. Just as we were about to drive off we see Ryan and Rose getting into a car so Brian drives over. He rolls down the window.

"Where are you going?" Brian asks.

Ryan tells him that they're going to the park.

"Well, were going to my old house so I can pack my stuff." Brian says.

Brian's P.O.V.

I was in Ryan and Rose's house sitting on the couch when I heard a door being opened. I stood up, turned around and saw Ryan. He tells me to come with him so I follow him to a house and then he opens up the door. I see a girl standing by Rose. Then Rose tells me that her name is Marie. I look into Marie's eyes and I could see that she recognizes me as her mate. I wish I could've felt the happiness that she had but I couldn't. I make my way towards Marie.

"Ryan and I are going to leave to give you guys some alone time." Rose says.

They leave the house and then it's just us.

"Are you going to reject me?" I hear Marie ask.

I don't say anything for a while; I'm just too shocked that Marie would think that I would reject her.

"I would never reject you. You don't know how long I've been waiting for you." I say.

Marie began crying so I wrapped my arms around her and I hear her gasp. I felt her arms wrap around me.

"Do you accept me?" I ask.

We let go of each other.

"Yes, I accept you." She replies.

She giggles; I don't think I could ever get tired of hearing it.

"Are you okay with me living here?" I ask.

She nods her head. "This is our house." She replies.

I kiss her lips.

"Should we head to my old place so I can pack my stuff?" I ask.

She nods her head. "Just let me get my shoes." She replies.

She heads off to the bedroom and then she comes back with shoes in her hands. She sits down on the couch and begins to put them on.

"Let me put them on for you." I tell her.

After her shoes were on, I stand up and then I help her up. We walk out the house and head towards her car. She makes her way towards the driver side.

"Let me drive." I say.

She hands me the keys, I lead her to the passenger side and after she got in, I got in on the other side. I stared the car up and just as I was about to drive off, I see Ryan and Rose getting into a car, so I drive over to them. I roll down the window.

"Where are you going?" I ask.

Ryan tells me that their heading to the park.

"Well, were going to my old house so I can pack my stuff. I say.

We drove off and fifteen minutes later, we arrived at my old place. We both got out and went inside. I grabbed Marie by the hand and we went to my bedroom. I pulled out a few bags from the closet and I began to pack my things.
