Memory Lost Chapter 22

Rose's P.O.V.

I hear two voices calling out Brian and Josh's names' and I see that it's Marie and Summer who's yelling their names. Brain and Josh wave bye to us before they walk off. Ryan comes over to me, grabs my hand and we walked towards our house.

"I don't know about you, but I'm tired." He says.

I yawn loudly. "I am too." I tell him.

Ryan opens the door and we walked in. The door gets shut behind me. I look to my left and then to my right but I don't see Ryan and then all of a sudden, I get lifted up off the ground. I gasp loudly and then my head crashes into a hard chest.

I look up and see that Ryan was carrying me. He carries me bridal style to our bedroom and then he places me gently on the bed. He hands me my pajamas so I stand up got undressed and then I got the pajamas on. I toss the clothes in the basket and then I pulled out the blanket and got into the bed. After Ryan had his pajamas on too, he turns the light switch off and then he got in bed too. I feel the blanket being pulled up and then after I got into a comfortable position, I fell asleep.

I woke up the next day, feeling someone poking my cheek. I opened up my eyes and saw Ryan's hand in my face. I push his hand away and glare at him. He just smiles like he didn't do anything wrong. I smile at him and let him pretend he didn't do anything wrong.

"How long have you been up?" I ask.

"For an hour I think, but it was worth it. You look so cute when you're sleeping." He replies.

I just laugh at him. Oh, how I love this man.

"I don't know about that." I say.

He doesn't say anything but scoot closer to me and he kisses me gently on the lips.

"Let's take a shower together and then we can eat breakfast." He says.

We got off the bed, went into the bathroom and after we got undressed we stepped into the tub to shower. After the shower, we both got changed and then we went downstairs to make breakfast. After it was made, we quickly ate and then we went back upstairs to grab our shoes. We got them on, and then we went back downstairs and out the door. We got in the car and drove off heading to my dad's.

When we arrived in front of the house, we got out and went to the door. Ryan was about ready to knock on the door when it was to show my brother Riley. He let us in and he hugged me. After our hug, I saw dad and Matt walk over so I went over to them and hugged them both too.

"I missed you." Dad says.

"Missed you too." I tell him.

We let go of each other and I smiled at them. I was so happy to see them.

"Do you remember where your room is?" Dad asks.

I nod my head, I feel someone grab my hand so I look to my right to see Ryan.

"Alright, go on up and pack. If you need help me let me know." Dad says.

Ryan and I then head upstairs and we head to my bedroom. When we got into my room, I peel my hand away from Ryan and then I head to my closet to grab four duffle bags. When I turned around, Ryan was right in front of me. I jumped literally a foot or two off the ground. I had thought he was there to grab the duffle bags but instead he shoves me against the closet door.

"Do not ever think to yourself that you are not cute." He growls out.

I had no idea that he was that pissed off about what I had said this morning.

I had realized that I hadn't said anything for a few minutes and I could tell that his anger was growing by the minute. I reached out with my free hand, which happened to be my right hand, and then I put my hand on his arm. I could tell that he calmed down slightly so I began stroking his arm gently trying to get him to calm down more.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know that what I had said bothered you that much." I tell him.

Ryan grabs the duffle bags from my hand and he drops them on the ground. He pulls me into him and he hugs me tightly. I wrap my arms around him and I felt him kiss the top of my head.

"I love you Rose." He says.

"I love you too." I say.

We let go of each other and then he kisses my lips. He picks up the duffle bags and then he heads over to my bed with them.

"Okay, you can pull your stuff out of the dresser and I'll take care of your closet." Ryan tells me.

"Sounds good." I say.

After we got the bags filled up with my stuff, Ryan grabbed all four bags. I tried to grab at least one of the bags but he had a firm grip on them.

"I'll take the duffle bags to the car and you can go sit down with your family." He tells me.

We walked downstairs; I could hear my family chatting. We got into the living room so I went over to the couch and sat down. I look up at Ryan and saw that he was smiling at me. He went outside with the bags.

"You got all your things packed?" Dad asks.

I nod my head. I hear the door open so I turn my head to the right to see that Ryan had came back in. He comes over, sits beside me and then he pulled me on his lap. I kiss his cheek and I felt his arms wrap around me.

"Can I ask you a couple of questions Ryan?" Dad asks.

Ryan looks hesitant. I think he's still weary of vampires but then he nods his head. I hope that he is going to give my family a chance.

"Do you have family?" Dad asks.

Ryan nods his head."I have two brothers." He says.

Dad doesn't say anything for a few minutes...I'm pretty sure he's thinking of another question to ask.

"Have you met them Rose?" Matt asks.

I nod my head.

"What rank are you in, in your pack." Dad questions.

I was sure that Ryan wouldn't answer the question and I wasn't going to say anything unless he wanted me too.

"I'm the Alpha." Ryan replies.

Dad looked shocked...I don't know if he's shocked because Ryan answered the question or because he had just found out that Ryan is the Alpha.

"Wow...an Alpha." Dad says.

It was silent for a little bit while my family processed the facts.

"I was wondering how did you find Rose?" Riley asks.

I was very curious as to how Ryan would answer that question.

"A few members of the pack picked up an unknown scent so they went to find out what it was and they told me they had found a human. I had decided to find out why this human was in my territory so I took off. I caught whiff of her scent and my wolf was going crazy. I didn't understand why at first until I saw her and then my wolf began screaming at me to go to her and protect her because she's our mate." Ryan replies.

I was glad Riley had asked that question because I probably would've never asked it myself.

"So Rose, Matt, and Ryan did you want to go to the park with me?" Riley asks.

I saw Matt nod his head so he was okay with it, so I tilt my head up slowly to look at Ryan and I saw that he nodded his head too so I nodded my head as well.
