Memory Lost Chapter 1

Rose's P.O.V.

I woke up on the ground...in a forest.

I began searching through my thoughts trying to figure out how I ended up here. I couldn't find an answer to the many questions that ran through my head.

I heard a branch snap so I quickly got off the ground and I hear a growl coming from behind me. I turn around and I see wolves circling me. Fear started to rise in me as thoughts of all these wolves shredding me apart. I closed my eyes tightly shut waiting for them to pounce on me.

After what seemed to be an eternity, I finally opened my eyes and I see the wolves back away; their heads and tails down. A few of the wolves move away slightly and I see a larger wolf step forward. The wolves that had surrounded me began to leave and the large wolf stepped towards me. I dropped down to the ground fainting.

I woke up in an unknown bed. I turn my head to the left and I see a guy sitting in a chair. He smiles at me when he sees I'm awake. He stands up off the chair and he walks toward me. I swallow hard, sit up slightly and I quickly moved into a corner when he got closer to me.

Tears began falling down from my eyes. "Please don't hurt me." I whisper.

"I'm not going to...I don't hurt women." The guy says.

Even though he said that, I still didn't trust him.

"Would you like something to eat?" He asks.

I nod my head slowly.

"Want to come with me to the kitchen?" He then asks.

I shake my head furiously.

"Alright, I'll be back then." He says.

The guy then walks out the room and I just sat there staring at the bed trying to remember why I was in the forest. I came up blank and then when I tried to find out some more personal information; like if I had any family, where I lived, what my favorite band was but nothing came up. The only thing that I remember is my name.

I got off the bed and decided to check my surroundings; I walked out the door and I instantly smelled food. I walked towards the smell and found my way into the kitchen. I got closer to the guy and felt like I wanted to go up to him and wrap my arms around him. I held back though unsure of why I would want to do that.

"Sit down." The guy says.

I went to the table, pulled out a chair and sat down.

"By the way my name is Ryan." He says.

No way in hell was I going to say my name so I don't say anything.

"It would be polite to say your name." Ryan says.

"I don't care." I say shaking my head.

Ryan doesn't say anything after that and then a few minutes later a plate was placed in front of me.

"I'll let you eat if you tell me your name." He says.

I was going to tell him that I wasn't hungry but then my stomach betrays me by growling. Ryan laughs at that.

"So are you going to tell me your name?" He says.

I sigh aloud and looked at the food...boy, did it look good.

"My name is Rose; can I have the food now?"I ask.

Ryan pushes the plate in front of me.

"Would you like to have apple juice?" He questions.

I nod my head expecting him to get me a drink but he doesn't move.

"Say please." He tells me.

I had an urge to flip him off but decided against it.

"Can you please get me some apple juice?" I ask.

Ryan smiles really big like it was the first time I had spoken in days.

"See? That wasn't so hard now was it?" He questions.

This time I couldn't hold back on flipping him off so I did it; I swear I heard him growl but it was only for a brief moment so I ignored it. Ryan got up, got me a cup of juice and then he slams it on the table making some of it spill. I swallow hard hoping he won't hurt me and then he walks out the house slamming the door behind him.

Wow...that guy is really rude...oh fuck, I can leave now! I got off the chair and made my way towards the front door. I opened the door and saw that the forest was everywhere I looked. I also saw that there were houses surrounding the one I was in. I was too into my surroundings that I didn't notice three guys walking towards me.

One of them cleared their throat so I looked down at them.

"Who are you?" The middle guy asks.

I ignored him and I began to think of a way to get out of here.

"I'm Andy and this is my brother Alex." The same guy says.

Andy points to the guy on his left.

"And this guy is Max." Andy says pointing to the guy on his right.

I turned around and began to head back inside the house. I was going to wait until these guys left to try and find a way out of here. One of them grabbed my arm and pulled me. I snatched my arm back and then a girl ran up to me.

"Leave her alone!" The girl yells out.

The guys walk off and then the girl turns around and looks at me.

"Go inside now." She says.

I hesitated at first.

"Now!" She yells out.

I open up the door quickly and head inside. I sat down on the couch and then the girl comes in afterwards.

"Sorry about yelling at you." She says.

"It's alright and my name is Rose." I tell her.

She went over to the couch and sat beside me.

"I'm Marie." She says.
