Memory Lost Chapter 14

Rose's P.O.V.

I got off of Brian's lap and walked over to the window. I pulled away the curtain and saw that it was dark. I turn around to look at Brian.

"It's dark now and he's not back yet." I walk back over to Brian and sit on his lap.

"He'll be here." He says.

I hope Brian was right because I want Ryan back. I feel Brian poke my shoulder so I turn to look at him.

"Go look out the window." He says.

I got up, walked towards the window and looked out to see Ryan and Josh walking towards the house and I see a girl...my age...walking beside Josh. I turn around and look at Brian.

"Ryan's back with Josh. There's a girl walking beside Josh." I tell him.

I turn around to look out the window again when I feel somebody standing next to me. I see that it's Brian.

"I swear if that's Josh's mate, I'm going to be pissed." He says.

I turn slightly to look at Brian. "Just promise me that you won't run off, I don't want you to leave." I say.

I hear him sigh slightly.

"Alright I promise." He says.

They come closer and suddenly the front door opens and I see Ryan. I wanted to run over towards him and hug him but I restrained myself.

"Where were you?" I ask.

He doesn't say anything for a bit.

"Can I just hug you first? I'll tell you tomorrow; I'm exhausted." He replies.

I shake my head. "You left with no note and you come back at midnight and you fucking expect me to hug you?! I have been worried sick about you and you won't tell where you've been?! You know what, you can sleep on the couch, and I'm going to bed." I yell out.

I made my way to the bedroom ignoring Ryan who was currently yelling my name. I got into the room and closed the door quickly. After I had locked the door, I could hear and feel Ryan pounding on the door.

"I'm not opening up the fucking door so knock it off!" I yell.

I hear him growl loudly and then I hear his footsteps walk away. I really wanted to open the door and tell him to come back but I wanted him to realize that he should've told me where he was going. I walked over to the bed, pulled out a blanket and then I took off my clothes. I put on one of Ryan's shirts and a pair of black shorts. I got in bed and fell asleep.

I woke up the next day, got up and went to the bathroom to shower. After I got dressed, I went over to the door, took a deep breath and opened the door. I began walking towards the living room and when I arrived, I was expecting the living room to be in ruins but it wasn't. I didn't see Ryan though; I was hoping that we could talk. I was grabbed from behind so I turned around quickly to see who grabbed me. I saw that it was Ryan and I resisted the urge to hug him.

"Can we sit down and talk?" Ryan asks.

I nod my head and we both sat down on the couch.

Ryan's P.O.V.

"Can I hug you first before I tell you what happened? I promise to tell you everything." I say.

I look into Rose's eyes as she nods so I reach over and lift her up. I place her on my lap and hug her tightly.

I'm sorry about yesterday. You had every right to be angry at me." I tell her.

I feel her kiss my cheek.

"I'm sorry too." She whispers.

I look at her. "You have nothing to be sorry about." I say.

I let go of her, expecting her to sit back on the couch but instead she continues to sit on my lap. I smile at that.

"Where to begin?" I ask more to myself.

I figured I might as well start from when I woke up.

"Yesterday morning I woke up because my wolf sensed that somebody had trespassed on our land so I gathered up some of the guys..." I say.

I take a couple of deep breathes. "Josh came with and we found the person that was on the land. We ended up finding out that she is Josh's mate so I had to perform a ritual to include her in the pack." I say finishing.

I looked at her to see what kind of reaction I would get.

"You could've told me that last night; you would've been able to sleep with me." She says.

I knew she was right, I should've told her.

"Can I have some breakfast?" She asks.

Instead of answering her, I stood up with her in my arms and carried her to the kitchen. I put her on the counter and began making breakfast. I decided, since I was in a good mood, to make breakfast for everyone.

As soon as the plates filled with food were placed on the table, I heard two people running. Josh and Brian ran over and they sat down at the table.

"Where's your mate?" I ask Josh.

"Right here." I hear a female voice say.

I look up to see her and then she sits down beside Rose. The two look at each other.

"Can I sit here?" Josh's mate asks.

Rose nods her head.

"Thanks and I'm Summer by the way." She says.

Rose smiles, says her name and they both go back to eating. I had figured that at least one of them would've yelled at the other but that didn't happen. I sat down on the other side of Rose and began eating. After we finished eating, Rose and I went into our bedroom and then after I kissed her gently, I went into the bathroom to take a shower. After the shower, I quickly got dressed and entered the bedroom.

I smiled at Rose when she got off the bed; I pulled her close to me and kissed her hard. Just as I was about to lay down with her, somebody knocks on the door.

I growl loudly. "What the fuck do you want?!" I yell out.

I hear Josh say that Summer needs to talk to Rose and I so we walked out the bedroom and down towards the living room.

"What was it that you wanted to talk about?" I ask Summer.

Rose and I sit down on the couch.

"I want to tell you why I was on your territory." She says.
