Memory Lost Chapter 12

Rose's P.O.V.

I woke up the next day and when my eyesight cleared, I discovered that I was alone in bed. I frown...I was hoping to wake up next to Ryan but I guess he decided to get up and leave. I got out of bed; grabbed some clothes and then I went into the bathroom to shower. After I got dressed and fixed my hair, I walk out of the bedroom and into the kitchen to find Ryan. I walk up to him and he turns around.

"Hey there beautiful." He says.

I smile at him.

"I'm sorry you had to wake up alone, my brother Josh called and I didn't want to wake you." Ryan says.

I don't say anything.

"Josh really wants to meet you so I told him that he can come tomorrow." He tells me.

I was excited to meet at least one of his brothers.

"When do I get to meet your other brother?" I ask.

Ryan shrugs his shoulders. "Tried calling but no answer." He replies.

I went over to a chair, pulled it out and sat down.

"Hungry?" Ryan asks.

I nod and he began cooking some breakfast when there was a knock on the door. Ryan asks me to watch the food and he heads to the door. A few minutes later Ryan came back over to me.

"I have to leave but I'll come back later. Can you finish cooking that?" He asks.

I nod my head and then he began walking off.

"Wait!" I yell out.

I had just realized that I forgot something. Ryan stops walking, turns to face me so I ran up to him and hug him tightly.

"Be safe." I whisper.

I hear him chuckle as he wraps his arms around me.

"I will. I love you." He says.

I tell him that I love him too and then after he lets go of me, he kisses me and then he heads out the door. I run over to the window, move the blinds and I see Ryan walking away with some guy. They both get into the car and drive off. I ran back to the kitchen and finished cooking the breakfast.

Just as I sat down at the table, somebody began knocking on the door. I got off the chair and went to the door. I opened it slightly and saw that it was Marie so I opened it all the way and let her in.

"Ryan told me to come and keep an eye on you." She says.

I roll my eyes at what she had said. I went into the kitchen with Marie following behind and sat down on the chair.

I look down at the plate and saw that Ryan had made too much.

"Are you hungry?" I ask her.

"If you're not going to eat it all." She replies.

I grab another fork and plate and then I scooped some onto her plate. We sat down at the table and began eating.

"Did Ryan tell you where he was going? And who he was going with?" I ask her.

"I was told not to tell you, but I promise you that he will be back soon." She replies.

I was furious that Ryan had told Marie not to say anything to me...when he gets back, he's going to have to explain himself. I didn't want to eat the breakfast but I had forced myself to eat it.

An hour came by and he still wasn't back. Twenty minutes went by and I hear a vehicle drive up so I got up and ran to the window. I saw Ryan and two guys getting out of the car. I wanted to open up the front door and run up to him but I didn't know who the two guys were and I didn't want to embarrass Ryan or myself.

The door opens to reveal Ryan so I get off the couch and walk up to him. He gently pulls me towards him for a hug and then the two guys that I saw outside came in. The two guys look at me.

"Guys, this is Rose, my mate." Ryan says.

One of them smiles at me while the other guy looks like he's about to cry.

"I'm Josh and this guy next to me is Brian. Were Ryan's brothers." The guy smiling at me says.

I was so happy to finally meet Ryan's brothers.

"It's a pleasure to meet you both." I say.

Brian manages to smile a bit.

"These two are going to be staying with us for a while." Ryan says.

That's cool; I get to learn more about Ryan through his brothers. Ryan leads his brothers to their rooms.

"I'm going to leave now. I'll see you later." I hear a female voice say.

I turn around and almost crash into Marie. She heads out the door then before I even have a chance to say bye to her.

"Was Marie hiding in the kitchen?" I hear Ryan ask.

"I think so but why would she be hiding?" I question.

"I think one of my brothers could be her mate though I'm not too sure." He replies.

Why would she hide from her potential mate?

"Maybe I can go to Marie's place and find out." I say.

Ryan growls. "You're not going anywhere outside by yourself and besides, I don't want you to leave." He says.

I lightly kiss Ryan on the lips.

"Well, what do you want to do then?" I ask.

Ryan growls a little more loudly this time. "What I want to do is take you to our room and cuddle with you on the bed." He replies.

I giggle at that. "Carry me?" I question.

He lifts me up, turns around and we make our way toward the bedroom. We got into our room; Ryan began walking towards the bed, dropped me on it and then went to the door shutting it. After the door was shut, he made his way back to me. He got on the bed too and then he pulls me towards him and he wraps his arms around me.

I sigh happily. "I love you." I say.

I hear Ryan say that he loves me as well. I lay my head on Ryan's chest and fell asleep.
