Memory Lost Chapter 2

Rose's P.O.V.

Somebody knocked on the door so Marie got up and went to the door. I turned my body so I could see who it was and then Marie opens the door to reveal Ryan. He doesn't even look at me, only Marie.

"What are you doing here Marie?" He asks.

Marie points at me. "Rose was outside and then Max, Andy, and Alex came over and I stopped them before they could hurt her." She replies.

Ryan finally looks at me. "Is that true?" He questions.

I nod my head slowly and I swore I heard Ryan growl but it was so low that I didn't hear it clearly. He turns around and begins to walk out the door.

"Where are you going?" I ask.

He stops walking. "Out to kick their asses." He replies in a growling voice.

He opens up the door.

"Please don't." I say.

Ryan turns his head to face me and he glares at me; the type of glare that says, 'I'll do whatever the hell I want.' I swallow hard.

"Did any of them touch you?" Ryan asks.

I shake my head, not wanting to tell the truth because I didn't want anyone getting hurt.

"Andy grabbed her arm." Marie whispers.

Ryan then walks out the house slamming the door. I got up, opened the door and ran after him. I grabbed his arm and he pulls away from me.

"Go back in the house with Marie now." He says.

I don't move and then he turns around to look at me.

"Rose please." He pleads.

I shake my head. "They didn't hurt me." I say.

"He put his hands on you." He growls out.

I took Ryan's hand in my hands and then I look up at him. "Please don't hurt him." I say.

Ryan smiles at me, a smile that had me smiling too.

"I promise you that I won't hurt him, I just want to talk to him, alright?" He tells me.

I nod my head, kiss his cheek and run back to where Marie was standing. When I made it to her, I turned around to see that Ryan was still in the same spot. He looked shocked. I laugh at that and then he recovers and points to his house so I head inside with Marie following right behind. I sit on the couch once again and sigh out loud.

"Do you miss your family?" She asks me.

I shrug my shoulders. "Don't remember them, it's almost as if my memories were wiped out; the only thing I can remember is my name." I tell her.

I wish I could remember something that would help me regain my memories and then I lay my head against the cushion and fell asleep.

Ryan's P.O.V.

I don't understand why Rose didn't want me beating the shit out of Andy...I made a promise to her though and I always keep my word even if I don't like the guy. Although I have to admit I was very shocked when Rose kissed my cheek; I just wish that she would've kissed my lips and the way she laughed...I could listen to that all day.

I arrived at Andy and Alex's house and knocked on the door. It opens to reveal the very bastard I want to kick the crap out of...but then I remembered the promise I made to Rose.

"I need to talk to you in private." I tell him.

Andy nods his head and he steps outside; I could feel his fear, he was scared of what I would do to him. We walk into the forest; he wasn't talking...which was a good thing because I was about ready to snap. When I stopped walking, Andy did the same.

"You remember that girl you touched?" I ask him in a calm voice.

He nods his head. "Yes Alpha, but why do you care?" Andy asks.

I growl grabbing his throat and I shove him against a tree.

"Why do I care you ask? I care because she's my mate!" I growl out.

I knew he was very scared then because he thought that I would kill him; I let go of his throat.

"I'm not killing you because I promised my mate I wouldn't; you owe her your gratitude." I say in a calm voice.

Andy sighs in relieve. "Thank you Alpha." He says.

"Thank my mate." I tell him.

I turn around then and walk back to my house and just as I was about to open the door, it opens. It opens fully and I see that Marie was the one who opened it. She moves away and lets me in. I look at the couch and I see that my Rose is asleep on the couch. I go to her and I lift her up and carry her to my bedroom. I lay her on the bed and then I walk back over to Marie.

"Did she talk to you?" I ask her.

She nods her head. "I had asked her if she misses her family and she said that she doesn't remember them." She replies.

I wonder if my mate has amnesia.

"Also Rose told me something disturbing." She says.

I waited for Marie to continue but she doesn't say more.

"Well, what did she say?" I ask.

"Something only a vampire can do. She said it felt like her memories were wiped out." She replies.

After Marie said that, she opened the front door and walked out. I closed the door went to my room where Rose was lying on the bed asleep. I went over to her, took my shirt off and then I got in bed beside her. Almost instantly, she lays her head on my chest. I chuckle a little not wanting to wake her up and then I place an arm around her and fell asleep too.
