Y/N is rejected & goes to Dylan for comfort.

Key: Your POV, Dylan's POV

       I heard a pounding at my door. I chose to ignore it. That is, until I heard them.

"Dylan," they cried softly.

"Y/N?" I asked as I rushed to the door.

          I opened my dorm door to see a disheveled Y/N. They were crying & in comfy clothes. Boy did they look like they needed a hug. Without saying a word I gave them one. A big bear hug. They immediately wrapped their arms around me.

"What happened?" I asked.

"Jack rejected me," they mumbled into my chest.

"Well that's what you get for going for a J name," I stated as I picked Y/N up.

            They chuckled as I carried them to my bedroom. I placed Y/N softly on my bed & wrapped them up in the covers. I climbed in next to them. I was dumb to think that they'd like me. I thought the whole "Jack" thing was a way to hint at liking me & Jack didn't exist. But they do. Jack exists somewhere & he broke the heart of the person I care for most. That is why I will push my feelings aside. Friends before feelings. Y/N needs me.

"How about we watch a movie? You can pick! I can order food. Where is my cat? Schrodinger?!" I quickly made my way to collect all I could to make Y/N happy.

               I set everything down & plopped Schrodinger into Y/N's lap. Takeout is on the way, a movie is ready, popcorn in hand tons of blankets. I did it. I'm an amazing friend.

                Dylan is an amazing friend. He is always there for me & makes me feel comfortable. He makes me laugh when I want to just become a trash blob. He is handsome, smart... well eh. He makes me feel like me. Wait. Do I like Dylan?
