Mason raised his eyes to a frowning Jace and made a face.

"Why the hell is your face like that Brown?" He asked, a mocking tone laced in his voice.

"Call. Me. By. My. Name!" Jace said between gritted teeth.

Mason chuckled softly as he walked round the table and stood at the window. He stretched out a hand through the window and soon a bird flew by and stood on his palms.

Jace watched him run his hand through it's feathers. It was a columbidae, a female dove that made that cooing sound every time Mason's touched a part of her.

"I really got no time Mason Drue"

Ryan was seated at the far end of the room, a leg bent over the other, watching them. He knew Jace was getting emotional and at the same time, was trying to get his wits together and Mason was getting lost into the moment. He really had no time.

Mason whispered something to it and soon, it flew out the window.

"What happened to her parents?" Ryan asked

"May 15th, 2015. Lost them in a plane crash flying back to Vegas"

"What else?" Ryan asked

"She lives in Vegas where she grew up but presently, she's studying at Harvard Law school in Boston. Currently living with her best friend Mia Adams and her parents. Also" Mason paused and breathed out "She's looking for someone to rent out her family home to for a year. Seems she's low on cash and barely surviving. So I wrote down her address here " He said and passed the paper to Jace "That's her address or better off, Mia Adams address in Massachusetts"

Mason watched Jace pass the paper to Ryan

"If she's barely surviving then how the hell is she paying for law school?" Jace asked

"She's on a scholarship. Did really well in the past LSAT"

"And she's having a ba--"

"Shut the fuck up Jace Brown" Ryan was quick to cut in. He watched him awkwardly rub his neck and sighed. He still was yet to understand why the hell he had to be stuck with the bastard all his life.

Ryan stood to leave

"One more thing Ryan Knight"

Ryan watched him, Mason smiled

"She's pregnant" he said.

There had it been a pause, a long one.

Ryan raised a brow at him alongside a cocky grin.

"I believe that's all Mason Drue?"

Mason nodded. "That will be all" he said.

and in a second, Ryan was out the door. Jace right after him.

Mia came back to her mother pacing the living room. With a hand to her neck and her heartbeat going up as the second increased, Grace was so relieved as the door swung open and Mia was at door. She frowned as she went into the kitchen to drop the grocery bags.

"What's up mom?" She paused and took a look at her again "You look so worked up"

For a moment, Grace stammered right there and in a split second, Mia had a hand over her back rubbing it. Her nerves was getting over her too. Her mom only stammered when she was way too nervous.

"Where's dad?, he's fine right?"

Grace nodded.

Mia looked up the stairway that led to the room she and Andy shared.
