The bustle and chaos in the Andrew's hospital made Ryan's dramatic entry not so evident.

Standing with a fisted hand on his hips and a hand covering his mouth, he paced back and forth.

"We would like to see a patient by name Andy Miles" Jace said.

"You and who sir?"

Jace for a moment contemplated on telling her who he was but that wasn't really necessary now was it?..

He scratched his hair

"That's him over there"

The blue eyes nurse tilted her head forward and nodded

"When was she admitted?" Jace raised an eyebrow

"Today"

"Are you her family?"

"No just friends".

From his sight line, Jace could see Ryan coming their way. He shook his head

"Room 14, to the left from here" He turned to the directions of her hands. Ryan was few steps closer when Jace stopped him on his tracks.

"Room 14" Jace said.

Ryan glanced up to look at the nurse. For a second there, he really was coming for her.

They both walked in quick strides, looking up at every door. Rye was taunting him within. His growls wasn't helping him.

"Ryan" Jace called. Ryan looked up, it was the number 14. Taking a breath in, he turned the door knob and swung it open.

Mia had Andy's hand wrapped around hers, placed on her face. Her red eyes couldn't cry anymore. She raised her eyes as she heard the door open. On a different occasion, Mia must have very well been head over heels in love with him already. He was beautiful, no doubt, she thought. They were beautiful, she corrected herself mentally. Realizing herself for a moment, she shut her eyes. She really was a lost cause.

"Who are you guys?"

She heard her mom ask. She turned back her eyes to them. The low cut guy on skinny jeans and a top with cute brown eyes had his eyes on everyone as if searching for answers but then the hot guy on suit and a long hair had his eyes on her Andy for way too long. Mia frowned. She glanced at Andy and back to him.

"Who the hell are you guys?"

She asked. Her voice on a pitch.

Ryan wasn't sparing her a glance. Instead, they watched him walk over to Andy and the next second, he was going on his knees. He held her hand as if that had been the most delicate thing he has ever laid his hands on. Almost effortlessly, he brought her hand closer to his lips and placed a kiss. Mia paused for a moment as she escaped a quiet gasp. Gently, she placed Andy's other hand back at her side and stood up next to her mother.

Ryan watched his hand run through her black hair. He shut his eyes at the silkiness of those strands. Her hair was spread almost like a pool on the pillow. She was beautiful, Ryan thought. Her lashes fanned her baby cheeks. Her lips were dry and there were bags under her eyes. She was down, no doubt and yet beautiful. Ryan kissed her hand again. How did she even think of taking her child's life, their child's life. He had his eyes shut for a moment, he would have also been Mateless for the rest of his darkened life. Rye was quiet now but his silence also was comforting. His emotions were getting the better off him and Rye was taking most of the pressure, it came with.

Before Jace could figure out what was about to happen, he saw tears run down his eyes. He certainly wasn't expecting this. It was yet another side of Ryan, he thought he would never see again. He was accepting to be so vulnerable in front of humans. He sure didn't know what he was doing, not when his soulmate was right beside him. He really couldn't fight fate now, could he?...
