A Light Shone In His Darkness

Her sight was fuzzy and blur as she opened them. It took her a while, to get the full picture of whose face she could see and then there was the faint voice like a reach out to her ears. It sounded like her name or maybe it really was her name.

Ryan watched her shut her eyes again for the second time. He closed his and waited, the low gasp had his eyes on her once again, her narrowed eyes were open staring back at him.

"Ry.. Ryan"

Ryan shifted his gaze to her unsteady hand that were reaching out to him, he quickly held them and placed a kiss.

Slowly, he helped her sit up, Andy held her head with the pool of her hair at the side as she shut her eyes again.

Opening them, Ryan watched her try to get rid of the fuzziness.

"Ryan" she called again. This time, her voice was clear and her eyes too

She stared into his pleading ones, they were reddened and glossy as if he had been crying.

"Were you crying?"

She couldn't help but ask

Ryan shook his head in response, a hint of smile crept it's way up her face. She knew he was. Her eyes drifted to the door as the memories of what had happened earlier gripped her once again. The fangs, the hairs that came out her skin, the growls. Up until now, she thought hearing growls from Ryan was normal but it really wasn't and the blood, Andy zoned out for a moment there as she went white again down the memory lane. She felt Ryan rub her arms and looked up at him. She glanced at her open arms, they were goosebumps. Andy shut her eyes and took a deep breath in

"Ryan..."

"I need to talk to you about something Andy"

Ryan's voice came over hers. He had to let it out his mouth before he could think again about it, he sure was going to back out of it if he did. But she had to know the truth, it was going to be out which ever way some day. He lifted his eyes to her and Andy had a clouded look at him

"Tell me Ryan" she said and swallowed "what was that I saw earlier. It wasn't ordinary"

Her heart was beating fast.

Ryan nodded, his eyes shut

"It isn't"

He said.

Convincing her to come with him, Andy followed with a little bit of hesitancy but then the small voice in her head said trust him and she did. She knew what she was going to see might change a lot of things in her but she had to know them...see them...for her child.

They walked down the narrow road while Ryan held her hand. Her eyes went everywhere, from the trees, to the wooden cabins almost everywhere and the misty wind, it came with. They stopped at an open ground with just a river nearby and some flowers beside.

Her eyes went to Ryan's hand leaving hers. As she stared at him, he looked so beaten up as if this whole experience was taking something away from him and it was.

Andy didn't why but she had closed the little distance between them and crouched his head down to hers. Their foreheads met as they shut their eyes instantly and took in each other's breath. Andy's lips slowly claimed his, it had taken a while but Ryan had turned up into it, kissing her with so much delicacy, she could feel the passion in it. Her legs were going jelly.

She broke away from it and looked up at him with smiling eyes. He was getting a bulge. They laughed. The awkwardness becoming so relevant in the silence. Ryan held her as she made to take some steps back.
