Logan furrrowed his brows

"Hailey?"

Just then, the door went open, they looked up, it was Hailey, who had a shift white dress on and a Chanel bag hung on her hand. She took off the glasses and flipped her hair off her face, and crowned her smile with her dazzling white rocks but maybe that moved other men, not Logan

"A pleasure to see you again dear brother"

Hailey eerily said. She looked over her shoulders at the wolf soldier who she was sure came to announce her presence. Hailey gave him a cheeky smile and a snarl right after, the man was quick to get the message, bowing, he excused himself and walked out, Logan watched him shut the door behind him, and turned his frowned eyes to Hailey who had her smiling eyes back at him

"What are you doing back here?"

Hailey shrugged as her face slowly turned into a pout. Her folded palms went under her jaw, giving her brother, some moueing look

"I've missed you"

Logan scoffed and looked away.

"Cut the act Hailey Moore, why are you here?"

Hailey immediately puffed out and drew into the chair, a sarcastic look on now

"I'm here for Ryan. I can't watch him slip out of my hands. Call me whatever but I'm getting him back. Been thinking of having a baby for him, you know. I don't know why I haven't thought about up until now. I should have been in paradise with him"

Her eyes had gone dreamy for a while there.

Logan wasn't having it.

"He has a destined mate, so does you"

Hailey made a bored look

"And I fucking Don't know what's taking their time to show up"

She leaned in

"You know Logan, we are mates, just that the sparks are coming late. I mean how else will you explain the fact that we haven't met our mates until now and our chemistry is so high"

The excitement in her voice didn't go unnoticed.

He opened the laptop on his desk

"Do whatever you wish Hailey. Just don't come sulking at me when all your plans goes down the rail"

Hailey laughed and pulled her lips together and made a kiss sound so audibly.

Logan scowled.

"Get the hell out"

She picked up the bag she had on his desk and stood

"With pleasure my love"

Logan kept her eyes at her as she strode to the door

"We have a pack meeting by nightfall, try to be there"

Hailey shook her head with a slight frown and a hint of smile somewhere

"I have more important things to take care of." She raised her eyes up and back at him "for example, making sweet love at the poolside by nightfall with...." She stared at with wide excited eyes "my darling Ryan" she drawled

Logan cursed and shook his head

"Just get the hell out"

"Byeeeee"

He heard the bang of the door right after. He stared blankly at the laptop in front of him, he didn't know why but he decided to not tell her about the fast spreading rumour that Ryan Knight has found his mate, a human pregnant for his child. No one was sure yet but she was simply going to come crying later on, he did warn her.
