Once again, Sunoo found himself lost in his thoughts, staring at a group of middle schoolers spraying graffiti on the school's infamous graffiti wall. It was a Friday and he was yet again in math, the subject no one liked and everyone dreaded, so you really couldn't blame him for choosing to stare at the vandalising tweens outside instead of learning calculus.
His eyes found their way back to the clock situated on the wall at the front of the class and Sunoo couldn't wait for it to finally hit 12. He had a study period after this class and although its purpose was for him to get more time to work on his assignments, he would always waste the hour talking and gossiping with Jungwon.
But this time he had a different motive in mind. He had found out that the mysterious dark blue-haired male had a study period at the same time that he did and it was in the same room as Sunoo. Although he had never noticed Heeseung before because the older was never present.
How he found out this information? He was going through the roster to see which group of kids from the study period had to clean up the library and to his surprise, Heeseung had been grouped with him.
So when the bell finally rang, he jumped out of his seat, swiping everything from his desk into his bag and he rushed out of the classroom, heading to their school library. He finally reached the grand room and he scanned his ID card as he made his way to the table where they usually sat.
His eyes landed on Jungwon's fluffy brown hair but he halted because this time there was another person with him, and their striking blonde colour popped out vividly in the vintage-esque library. Sunoo suspiciously walked towards them and he tried to eavesdrop on them from behind a bookshelf so he hurriedly rushed to stand near the one behind them.
He pretended to be scanning for books as he tried to listen in on their conversation. "Please, you're too kind." He heard Jungwon chuckle in his flirtatious voice, making him raise an eyebrow.
Jungwon flirting? He tried to peer over at them, but he couldn't see so he shuffled to the other end of the bookshelf. He kept glancing at the two, noticing how seemingly close they sat to each other making Sunoo frown.
He panicked when he saw the scary librarian rounding the corner and eyeing him suspiciously so he grabbed the first book he could find and pretended to read through it. He saw her approaching him from the corner of his eye and he panicked again, moving to the other side of the bookshelf.
Sunoo kept turning his head back to see if she had caught up to him yet but he wasn't looking where he was going and he bumped into someone, making him wobble backwards slightly. He groaned and looked at the intruder, his eyes widening when he made eye contact with the one and only, Lee Heeseung.
The tall male was looking down at him with the same piercing gaze he had from the day before and it made Sunoo suddenly feel very nervous. Sunoo quickly glanced over to see that the librarian had gone another way, making him sigh in relief but he was now caught in an awkward situation with Heeseung.
"Sorry." Sunoo smiled meekly, apologising for bumping into him as he hoped the other wouldn't choke him against a wall again.
But Heeseung said nothing, his eyes instead focused on the book that Sunoo was holding and he looked back up at Sunoo with a somewhat amused glint in his eyes. Sunoo followed his gaze and he felt his heart stop beating when he saw the book that he had picked up was an extremely erotic gay romance novel.
He panicked and hid the book in his arms, wanting to tell Heeseung that he had grabbed it by mistake but it only sent the wrong message and Heeseung seemed even more amused with his flustered reaction.
Sunoo opened his mouth, about to give Heeseung an explanation but when he saw the small smirk on the corner of Heesueng's lips, his heart began palpitating and he couldn't say anything, only blushing brightly while the other stared at him intently.
