Chapter 1: A Journey

Jisoo and Jennie started their journey as Jisoo would tell Jennie a bunch of stories, Jennie was a quiet baby, maybe too quiet.

"Oh, look it's a house!" Jisoo pointed out, "Humans live in those kinds of ho-"

"What are you kids doing out here?!" Jisoo and Jennie froze as Jisoo looks up at the young man standing in front of her,

"Ah, Vampires." The man sighs, "You two are far from home, you know that?"

"W-we we're given orders," Jisoo says backing up,

"Look I won't hurt you, But you need to be careful because people will kill both of you."

"Kill us?" Jisoo asked confused, "why?"

"Some people don't like Vampires."

"I see."

"Honey! Who are you- aw they're so cute!" A lady walks out of the house as Jisoo held onto Jennie's basket, "you kids must be hungry!"

"N-" A loud rumbling of Jisoo's stomach betrays her.

"Come inside! I'll make you two a nice meal!" The nice lady says as her husband looks at Jisoo and nods.

"Okay," Jisoo says observing their movements, she could kill them if she wanted to. While the lady cooked, The husband looked at Jisoo as helping Jennie walk.

"Where you are from?"

"A castle." Jisoo says, "It's huge!"

"A castle?"

"Yeah, it's gray and red. There's a red heart on the front of it!" Jisoo explained as the Man widens his eyes,

"You're a Kim?"

"Yeah," Jisoo says looking back at Jennie, "Our parents are going to find us."

"I- I'm sure they will." The man says as Jisoo noticed his heart racing, "So, do you have any family out here?"

"Nope."

"Dinners ready!"

Jisoo fed Jennie before eating her meal too, the couple watched them before the wife breaks the ice.

"So where are you two going?" She asks as Jisoo looks at her,

"We're traveling around." Jisoo says, "The meal is good, thank you."

"Anytime, You're our guests." The lady smiles, as her husband looks at his wife.

"Thank you for the meal, but we'll be on our way," Jisoo says pushing the plate forward as the lady stands up,

"Oh, instead of this basket, you can use this!" She says holding a large cloth, Jisoo looks at her confused as she laughs.

"It's to hold your sister."

"Oh, How do you use it?" Jisoo asks as the lady walks over and ties it around Jisoo's back to her shoulder. The lady gently picked up Jennie and placed her in as Jisoo held her sister's hands grab onto her shirt.

"Thank you," Jisoo says sincerely as the lady shakes her head,

"I want you two to adventure happily."

"You'd be a good mom." Jisoo says, "The baby is lucky to have you." She says before the lady widens her eyes, Jisoo takes Jennie and leaves the house.

"Baby?" The man asks as the lady looks at him shocked too,

"I guess I'm pregnant."

As the two sisters traveled together, the sun began to fall. Jisoo made sure that Jennie was warm and comfortable as she would continue to walk, the two heard a howl from a distance but Jisoo wasn't afraid.

"Werewolves?"

"Yeah, they're on a hunt." Her father explained, "they're friendly people."

"Why don't we see them?"

"Because some aren't so friendly and it's better not to disturb their hunt."

"Can I meet one?"

"One day, when you're older."

Jisoo looks up at the rising moon and smiles before continuing her walk.
