A month passes as things slowly got back to normal, Wendy was back home, Irene took charge again, and Jennie was hanging out with Lisa.

Jisoo hasn't been home for a month as she was still gone and Chaeyoung too, it seemed like both were fine on their own.

Lisa and Jennie were playing games in the living room, Lisa groaned as Jennie kicked her piece back to start.

"Come on!"

"Sorry!" Jennie stuck her tongue out at her.

"Tsk."

"WOAH!"

They both turn back to hear a sudden shout from behind the couch, Jennie and Lisa could see pink hair pop out from behind.

"Gosh, I've gotten rusty." The person laughs before turning around.

"CHAEYOUNG?!" Lisa stood up and yelled.

"Hi?" Chaeyoung smiles as she ran her hand through her pink hair.

"You're here!" Lisa ran to her and tackled her to the ground, her roommate was finally there.

"How was hell?" Jennie peeks at them from the couch.

"It was fun! It was a year I stayed there." Chaeyoung said time and days worked differently in hell.

"I see, so what's the sudden change?" Jennie asks noticing the pink hair.

"I'm a now changed person." Chaeyoung smiles.

Chapter 26: You're back!

Chaeyoung sat in class as everyone greets her, she smiles and accepted the gifts that everyone gave her. People commented how thin and tone she now was, they asked her where she's been.

"Family stuff." Chaeyoung sweetly replied.

Jennie and Lisa both saw Chaeyoung surrounded by their peers, Chaeyoung told them to go away before the two sat down beside her.

"Can I have some?" Lisa asks pointing at the food the girl was given.

"Sure." Chaeyoung pushed toward her.

"How did you manage to stay alive in hell?" Jennie asks as Chaeyoung looks over at her, "Don't you need humans?"

"That's a secret." Chaeyoung winked before the class started.

After their class ended Jennie notices how Chaeyoung changed much, Lisa was too busy to see it while Jennie was confused. How did Chaeyoung live in hell?

"I'm open!" Chaeyoung waves her arms as Lisa threw the ball over to her, "Jennie! Do you want to play?"

"No thanks!" Jennie rejects it as she couldn't have her identity ruined.

"Chae, Jennie can't play. Remember?"

"Ah, that's right!" Chaeyoung gasps, "sorry!"

"It's fine." Jennie shrugged it off, "I'll be sitting at the bleachers."

"I'll join you!" Lisa says as she ran over to walk with her.

"Is it me or has Chaeyoung completely changed?" Jennie asks as Lisa looks at her confused, "Like, She doesn't have a mark anymore or she doesn't-"

"Jennie, you're thinking too much. Chaeyoung is still Chaeyoung." Lisa smiles, "I don't see she's changed at all, but maybe it seems like it because she's finally here."

"Maybe." Jennie looks down.

"Hey, Chaeyoung's back now and maybe...maybe Jisoo will come back too."

"I don't know, Lisa." Jennie looks at her sadly, "I don't know if she'll want to come back after everything."

"Jisoo will come back, she won't forget about you," Lisa reassured her but Jennie was doubtful.

Jennie smiles before stopping completely, Lisa stopped and looks at her confused seeing how alert the girl was.

"Uh, Jennie?"

Jennie fell to her knees as she clutches her stomach, it wasn't something normal.

haeyoung stopped playing before everyone looked at Jennie, she rushed over to look at Lisa confused, who shrugged instead.

"Jennie? Are you okay?" Chaeyoung asks as Jennie groans in pain.

"Hehe, sorry everyone it's just that time of the month!" Lisa says to her peers, who just shrug it off.

"Jennie?" Chaeyoung touched her back, "I think we should get you to the nurse or something."

"N-no." Jennie tried but by her face, it was painful.

"Come on, Lisa help me." Chaeyoung orders as the human helped Jennie up.

Once they arrived at the nurse's office, they lay her down on the bed before the nurse walks in.

"She broke out in a fever," Chaeyoung explained as the nurse nodded and turns around.

"I'll handle it."

"

Jisoo!" Lisa says happily as she stood from her seat.

The older girl smiles before looking into the eyes of the nurse and causing her to leave the room. Jisoo walked over to Jennie, whose face was scrunched up in pain.

"Oh," Jisoo says before placing her hand on Jennies' stomach and looking at her, the younger Kim's face relaxes before she fell asleep.

"Is she okay now?" Lisa asked as Jisoo didn't turn back.

"She's fine, just get her water when she wakes up."

"Got it!" Lisa said before running out thof e room, leaving only Chaeyoung and Jisoo there.

"So...Nice cut on your cheek.", Chaeyoung says looking at the floor.

"The village needs their queen."

"You're only here for them." Chaeyoung said, "because the war is starting isn't it?"

"Get out of my head."

"Jisoo, You caused this war." Chaeyoung stood up from her seat, "you provoked them!"

"Stay out of it." Jisoo turns around looking at her angrily, "You don't know me at all!"

"You don't even know yourself!"

"I do." Jisoo said harshly, "unlike you, I fought hard to become a hero instead of a monster like you."

"You know what, fine." Chaeyoung backs off, "I'm done trying to be nice-"

"-I don't need you. I never did." Jisoo cuts her off, before disappearing.
