"Girls! Family is coming over tonight! We'll be hunting as well." Irene says, "Except you Jennie, you're still too young."
"But-"
"There are bags in the fridge." Wendy says, "fresh too." Jennie pouts as Seulgi and Jisoo play chess.
"It's too dangerous for you." Jisoo says, "hunters will be out tonight as well." She frowns as Seulgi takes one of her pieces.
"But I'm older now, I can handle myself!" Jennie defends as Jisoo looks her in the eye, "You can't keep treating me like I'm a little kid anymore!"
"You're inexperienced." Jisoo rose from her seat as Jennie glares at her sister, "Not to mention, you hardly act like a vampire."
"It's the best for you, Jennie." Irene spoke, "we can't risk for you to get hurt." She says placing her hand on Jennie's shoulder, Jennie moved back as Jisoo got pissed.
"I need to experience this too!" Jennie shouts, "why can't I -"
"Unless you want to die like our parents, be my guest!" Jisoo shouts back, everyone grew quiet as Jisoo held her head.
"Jesus Christ Jennie! You're all I have left but if you want to die then do it!" Jisoo looks at her, "Go out tonight, and don't go begging for me to save you." Jisoo walks out of the living room and upstairs.
"It's better to not..." Seulgi looks at the board, Wendy looks at Irene with a knowing look.
"It's better if you leave your sister alone," Irene says as Jennie looks at her, Jennie walked out of the house as Irene sighs.
"Keep an eye on Jennie tonight."
"Okay." Wendy smiles softly as Seulgi looks away, Seulgi exits the living room and heads upstairs.
"Hey, baby~" Jisoo looks up seeing Chaeyoung sitting on her bed, "What's wrong?" Chaeyoung leans onto her as Jisoo sits beside her.
"Jennie is being annoying."
"I see, well maybe I can take your mind off her?" Chaeyoung hooks her hand under Jisoo's chin and makes her look at her.
"It's not working." Jisoo smiles as Chaeyoung pushed her away,
"Damn, well let's go out then!" Chaeyoung says happily, "I'm sure your family wouldn't mind me taking you out for a bit."
"I guess not." Jisoo says, "I'll see you outside." She says getting off the bed, she rushed past Seulgi and runs out the front door.
Seulgi looks back and shakes her head.
"I beat you~" Chaeyoung sang as Jisoo rolled her eyes, "come on, use your legs!"
"Not all of us are fast," Jisoo says as Chaeyoung gave her a look, "Fine that's a lie."
"I thought so" Chaeyoung looks around, "well, Let's go!" She points.
"Are you always this energetic?"
"When I'm fed" Chaeyoung smiles, "but that's a secret~" she winked.
Chaeyoung and Jisoo continued to torment humans together, while they currently sat on the swings eating ice cream.
"So, it's just you and Jennie?" Chaeyoung asks as she kicks the little wooden chunks,
"Yeah, it's always been us." Jisoo says as she stabbed her spoon into the cup, "What about you?"
"I did...but not anymore."
"What happened to them?" Jisoo asks as she looks over at Chaeyoung, the girl seemed down as she pulled down her sleeve.
"They were killed," Chaeyoung says with a sad smile, Jisoo wondered why she smiled.
"You know, I was one human." Chaeyoung looks away, "but now I'm not."
"How was it like?"
"Anything you could imagine."
Chaeyoung smiled as she runs to Lisa, she laughed as Lisa fell back with her.
"Yeah, Park Chaeyoung!"
"Yah, Lalisa!" Chaeyoung says as Lisa smiles, the familiar sound of a bell echos down the street as both looked at each with a look.
"ICE CREAM!"
Chapter 6: First Night
Irene opened the door wide as she smiles brightly,
"Ah! Nayeon-ah!" She hugged the girl tightly, "it's great to see you!"
"You too, bae. How're the girls?" Nayeon smiles,
"They're alright, please come inside!" Irene smiles as the group entered. Seulgi looks back and smiles,
"Jeongyeon!" She calls out the other girl, Jeongyeon smiles back and hugged her.
Wendy was setting up the table as a pair of hands covers her vision,
"Guess who?" Wendy smiles knowing that same voice she loved, She turns around and saw the person smiling back.
"Sooyoung."
Jisoo was sitting on the couch as Chaeyoung was sitting beside her, Chaeyoung wanted to join her since the girl has nothing else to do.
"Who are they?" Chaeyoung asks as she looks around confused,
"They're from Irene's pack." Jisoo explained, "But they don't live here anymore."
"I see," Chaeyoung says as she held onto Jisoo's hand.
"So Kim, you got a girlfriend?" Jeongyeon asks as she leans over the couch and ruffles Jisoo's hair, Jisoo frowns as Chaeyoung laughs.
"She's not my girlfriend," Jisoo mumbled as she tried to fix her hair.
"Yet" Chaeyoung adds in, "I'm Chaeyoung."
"I'm Jeongyeon, I can tell we'll get along just fine."
"Everyone! It's time!" Irene claps her hands, "shall we get started?" She looks around.
