Chapter 11: Apologize (2/2)

Chaeyoung was with Lisa as she tagged along to a party, she sat on the island as she takes a drink. She sighs feeling bored as she looks around seeing all the humans dancing tonight, Lisa was somewhere amongst them.

"Lonely?" She hears as she smiled brightly, "I didn't peg you to be a loner here."

"I didn't think someone older to be here." She says looking back to see her favorite vampire standing right there, "What brings you here?"

"I figured Jennie would be here." Jisoo says joining her on the Island, "your friend?"

"Right there." She points to Lisa having a dance battle with someone, "This party is quite boring."

"I guess, I remember when Jennie and I almost joined a cult." Jisoo says as Chaeyoung looks at her weirdly, "What? The party's boring."

"Joining a cult? How?"

"I guess when you are young and stupid, you walk through the woods to see people huddled together. I thought maybe they were playing a game with a dead animal-" Jisoo looks at her and felt an attraction, she felt as if she couldn't take her eyes off Chaeyoung.

It worked.

Jennie was walking inside after swimming in the pool with some classmates, she could feel Lisa and Chaeyoung here. She hears people cheer as Lisa was posing, Lisa's eyes catch her and lit up.

"Jennie!" She beamed as she rushed to the girl, "you're here!"

"Why wouldn't I?" Jennie asks confused, "where's Chaeyoung?"

"No clue" Lisa shrugged, the song changed as Lisa offered her hand. "Wanna dance?"

"Sure" Jennie was pulled into the crowd as she could hear Lisa's heartbeat, she held the girls' hands feeling intimidated. It was a slow song, one Wendy sang when she would clean the house.

"Do you know this song?" Lisa asks as Jennie swallowed the lump in her throat, "This is my favorite song."

"It's a good song," Jennie answered as Lisa smiles to herself, she couldn't see the blush Jennie had on her face.

Jennie looks around the room as she sees her sister and Chaeyoung, Jisoo looked happy around Chaeyoung. A smile she had never seen given to her, she saw how Chaeyoung held Jisoo's hand. Jisoo looked so happy and so did Chaeyoung, Jennie looks away as she focused on dancing with Lisa.

'Chaeyoung.' Chaeyoung looks at the dance floor seeing Jennie dancing with Lisa, she saw how her friends looked happy.

'I forgive you.' Jennie looks over and smiles as Chaeyoung smiles back, Jisoo looks to see her sister.

"I didn't expect her to be here," Jisoo says before sipping whatever Chaeyoung had to drink. "Could be worse."

"Wanna get out of here?" Chaeyoung asks as Jisoo nods, Chaeyoung jumps off the island and pulls Jisoo along.

'Be safe!'

'I will!'

Irene was eating dinner as Wendy was cleaning the kitchen, she could hear the girl hum a different tune this time.

"Hey, Wendy?" Irene calls her as Wendy looks up at her, "How is the married life?"

"Married life? It's honestly amazing!" Wendy smiles, "Sooyoung visits whenever she can."

"How come she doesn't live with us?" Irene asks as Wendy chuckled,

"Well... She has a life out there." Wendy shakes her head, "and I respect her decision to stay there and help out."

"Don't you miss her?" Irene objects as Wendy stopped wiping the counter,

"I do... every day." Wendy's eyes lost a little bit of light, "but! I'm here with you guys!" She looks at Irene and smiled happily.

Irene smiles softly as she envies Wendy, how could someone deal without their lover?

"I'm awake losers!" Seulgi walks in as Wendy laughs and Irene groans, "Miss me, bae?"

"It's better when you're sleeping." What a Lie.

"Love you too," Seulgi says walking the fridge, "Where's the Kim's?"

"Partying!" Wendy says, "Jisoo finally is hanging out with humans."

"Humans? Her girlfriend isn't human." Seulgi laughs as Irene looks at her confused, "you didn't think she was human, right?"

"She's not?"

"No! I think she's a demon." Seulgi pulls out a blood bag, "But has the abilities of a succubus."

"Maybe she's a part succubus?" Wendy suggested, "she does have that factor."

"Well, this world is full of surprises." Irene says, "I wouldn't be surprised if Seulgi turned into a dog right now."

"Yah!"
