Chaeyoung placed her hand on Jisoo's chest to heal her wound before backing away, Jisoo sits up as she looks at Chaeyoung.

"Come on." Chaeyoung offered Jisoo her hand.

Jisoo looks at it before taking it.

Chapter 29: It's over...isn't it?

Blood painted the grass and dirt, decapitated parts were spread all around, and the sight of no living being.

"You're okay!" Jisoo heard as Irene rushed over to her, she felt Chaeyoung's hand pull away from hers.

"Jisoo!" Wendy and Seulgi also rushed over to her.

Irene hugged her tightly as well as the other two, Jisoo looks down as Irene held her face.

"You aren't hurt?" She checks for any cuts as Jisoo looks at her eyes, "Jisoo?"

"Where's Jennie?" Jisoo asks as Wendy and Seulgi both looked at each other.

"O-over there," Seulgi says pointing at the girl who was being comforted by Nayeon.

Irene lets her go as the older Kim walks over to her sister, she halts to a stop before Jennie looks up at her.

"UNNIE!" Jennie cried as she ran over to hug her older sister.

"Jennie?" Jisoo could smell Lisa's scent all over her, "Where's Lisa?" It caused her sister to sob into her chest.

"I-I-" Jennie tried to speak as everyone saw Chaeyoung walk past them.

Chaeyoung's face held a sad expression as she looks down at her dead friend, she fell to her knees as tears welled up.

"Please Chaeyoung, we're being attacked!"

"But-"

"Please, We all need you here! Please...at least for me?"

"Fine, I'll be there."

Chaeyoung chokes back a sob as she leans down and hugged her friend's cold body, tears soaked her shirt as Chaeyoung didn't make a sound.

Jisoo held her sister close as she watched Chaeyoung's shoulders rise up and down, everyone looked down in respect for Lisa.

"It should've been me." Jennie says as Jisoo pats her back, "I let it happen."

"Jennie, it's not your fault," Irene spoke up.

The younger Kim let go of her sister and walks to her other unnie's, while Jisoo walked to Chaeyoung and sat beside her.

"Chae?"

"She's gone."

"I'm sorry."

"I- I couldn't get here on time." Chaeyoung lets Lisa go before looking at Jisoo.

"But you still showed up." Jisoo says as Chaeyoung looks down, "hey, it wasn't your fault. Lisa protected Jennie."

"But I vowed to protect her." Chaeyoung says, "I promised to protect her."

"Yeah, but I protected Jennie."

Chaeyoung and Jisoo snap their heads down as Lisa stares at them unfazed,

"Surprise?"

"LISA!" Chaeyoung hugged her tightly causing the girl to make a face.

"Stop, you're embarrassing me." Lisa hugs her back, "I'm glad to see you!"

"But how?!" Chaeyoung asks as Jisoo shrugs.

"Hey, where's-"

"You Stupid Bitch." Lisa felt arms wrapped around her chest, she could feel Jennie's head beside her neck.

"Ah! You're okay!" Lisa beams.

"Am I the only one confused?" Seulgi interrupted as Nayeon and Irene laughed.

"Isn't obvious?" Irene asks,

"The human turned into a vampire." Nayeon finishes, "look at her eyes."

Chaeyoung and Jennie broke away to see how deep red Lisa's eyes were, Jennie gasped as Chaeyoung high fives her friend.

"Vampire Skills!" They cheered together.

"So that means?" Jisoo raised an eyebrow at her sister,

"Jennie's taken now." Wendy smiles before Seulgi fell to her knees and groans.

"How did She get a girlfriend before me?!"

"Loser," Seola says under her breath.

"So... I'm not human anymore?" Lisa sighs, "well, it was fun while it lasted."

"Hey, You're still a human to me." Chaeyoung smiles.

"So now I can use powers against you."

"Remember, with a flick of my wrist I can kill you." Chaeyoung threatens her.

"This was fun but I'm tired!" Nayeon announced, "Let's leave." She motions to her pack.

"See you again Bae."

"You too." Irene waves before the others left.

"What do we do with her?" Seulgi asks.

"We'll train her I guess?" Irene shrugged, "I don't know."

And off they lived, Lisa would visit to get lessons from Wendy and training from Seulgi. Chaeyoung and Jisoo were dating again and were now officially a thing, and Jennie?

"God, being a vampire is so hard." Lisa slumps in her seat, "I want to die!"

"Deal with it," Chaeyoung says eating her food.

"I'll throw you."

"And I'll send you to hell."

"Hey, Where's Jennie?"

"Getting something from her locker." Chaeyoung answered as Lisa flicks a pea at her, "YAH LALISA-YA!"

Jennie shuts her locker before turning to walk away, she stops hearing a gentle soft humming from behind. She turns around and heard the voice more clearly, she walks forward trying to find the voice. Until it stopped at a classroom-

She opened the door and entered before seeing nothing, she turns to walk out before the door suddenly shuts on her.

"I've been waiting for you, Kim."
