Jisoo smiled as her father stood beside her, she looks down upon the others as she hid behind his leg.

"There is no need to be afraid, you'll have to get used to it soon." He says as she looks at him, "Our kind will depend on you after me."

Depend on me?

Chapter 4: Don't look away

Jisoo was at the library like usual as she sat at a table by herself, it was pretty sad. She continues to read her book before hearing a chair next to her move,

"You know, you're here quite often."

"I prefer to be alone."

"That's a bit sad."

"I don't find it-" Jisoo looks up to see Chaeyoung sitting beside her, "Sad." She says as Chaeyoung smiles.

"You like being alone, don't you?"

"Not really." Jisoo says, "you like middling in people's spaces don't you?"

"Isn't it obvious?" Chaeyoung says before leaning over to see Jisoo's book, "that's a pretty sad book, don't you think?"

"It's an amazing book, thank you very much." Jisoo closed it as Chaeyoung gave her a look, "Why are you even talking to me?"

"You looked like you could use the company." Chaeyoung says looking at her nails, "besides who knew Jennie's older sister would be hot."

Jisoo's face reddens as she looks away embarrassed, Chaeyoung glinted in her eye as Jisoo looks away.

"Oh? Embarrassed?"

"Shut up." Jisoo felt her body start to heat as Chaeyoung leans her body closer to her, what is she doing? Why do I feel-

"Sooyaa?"

Jisoo looks up seeing Seulgi standing there as Chaeyoung backs away, Seulgi looks at them confused but brushes it off.

"Wendy told me to get you..." Seulgi looks away as Jisoo stands up quickly,

"Leaving already?" Chaeyoung asks as Jisoo didn't dare to look at her, "well..." Chaeyoung stood up too and leans over.

"Goodbye, Vamp." Chaeyoung kissed her on the cheek before leaving, Seulgi smirks as Jisoo's face reddens more.

"Eh? Got a girlfriend?" Seulgi teases as Jisoo covered her face in embarrassment, "Wow Sooyaa, making moves."

"Yah~" Jisoo whines as Seulgi laughs,

"Come on, it's a joke!" Seulgi smiles as she and Jisoo leaves, "But she's very pretty. She's hard to look away from." Seulgi mentioned.

"Yeah, she is..."

"And done!" Wendy smiles, "your body seemed to heal itself which is great! All you need to do is just work on your strength."

"Okay, is Irene home?"

"Hmm? No, she's gonna arrive late today."

"Okay, thanks, Wendy."

"Anytime." Jisoo walks out of the room as she couldn't stop thinking about Jennie's friend, this was JENNIE'S friend. She walks back to her room and isolated herself, she couldn't bother to look at her sister right now.

Night came as Jisoo was sleeping soundly, she turns over before smelling a sweet strawberry scent. Confused, she decided to open her eyes and see the last person she ever wanted to see.

"Hey, babe." Chaeyoung winked as Jisoo froze, "missed me?"

"How?"

"Well, unlike other humans, I'm special." Chaeyoung says flipping her hair, "aren't I?" She looks Jisoo in the eye.

"You are." Jisoo was taken back as she couldn't look away from the girl, Chaeyoung leans forward as Jisoo didn't move.

"You know, it's my first time seeing a vampire around here," Chaeyoung says as Jisoo could feel her breath beside her neck. "I'll make the most of it."

Chaeyoung's lips touched Jisoo as the older couldn't process-

"Jisoo!"

"Jisoo!"

"JISOO!"

Jisoo shot out of bed as Irene looked at her concerned, Jisoo sweated and breathes heavily as she looks around.

"Are you okay? You were talking in your sleep." Irene asks worriedly as Jisoo nods,

"I'm fine, just a bad dream."

"Oh okay," Irene nods, "goodnight then." She exits as Jisoo fell back into her bed.

"What the fuck?" Jisoo held her head in confusion, "How is she appearing in my dreams?"

Jisoo tossed and turned as she slept, she woke up in fear from her dream. She looks at the closet and swore she saw red eyes staring back at her, she sat on her bed and she pulled the covers over her.

"What is she?"
