Wendy was in the office as she cleans the room while dusting the shelves she sees a book that has Jisoo and Jennie's names. Frowning in confusion, Wendy picks it up and opened it-

The Kim kingdom was destroyed, The humans- set the castle on fire. The king was killed instantly while the queen was burned, the kids? Unknown whether they made it or not. If they did, the oldest would take charge of the kingdom.

It's our queen's wish.

Wendy looks away from the book and shuts her eyes, why did Irene have this book? She opened her eyes and continued to read it-

The remains of our King and Queen remain in perfect condition due to the witches, once the children are found, our kingdom will continue and our unfinished war will end.

"Wendy?"

"Unnie-" She looks back seeing Irene standing there,

"Why did you hide this?"

Chapter 13: My Family...

Irene looks at Wendy and the book, she bit her lip as Wendy stares at her.

"You hid this from them?"

"I have no choice, you think they'll go back?" Irene asks, "the kingdom is doing just fine without them."

"How do you know?"

"Because I go there!" Irene yelled, "Every time I leave that door, where else do I go? I'm the one helping them for the civilization and everything!"

"Then why didn't you tell us?! Tell them?!"

"Because they'll be killed!" Irene yelled back, "Those humans... They'll kill them both! I don't want them anywhere near that kingdom whatsoever."

"I can't believe you." Wendy shakes her head in disbelief, "You're hiding them because they're the only hope to stop the humans."

"I can't." Wendy walks past Irene, shoving the book into the girl's arms before slamming the door shut.

"You don't know the full story," Irene says to herself as she looks at the book.

"Does your sister like cake?" Chaeyoung says looking at the window of pastries and calling her name, Jennie looks up her phone and made a face.

"Unnie doesn't eat human food."

"Vampires can eat human food?" Lisa asks as Jennie nods,

"Yeah, It depends on your system. I can eat it, but Jisoo Unnie can't."

"Why not?"

"I don't know, it just doesn't sit well with her." Jennie shrugged, "she gets sick for some reason."

"Ah, well... More for me!" Chaeyoung happily says before entering the shop, Jennie and Lisa looked at each other and shake their heads.

"Aish- this girl." Lisa smiles as Jennie and she enter, little did they know- someone was watching them.

Seulgi was thrown against a tree as she grunted in pain, she looks around trying to find the person. She fell to the floor as she lifts herself,

"Give up?" She looks up seeing Jisoo standing there, Seulgi scoffs before grabbing onto Jisoo's leg and causing a shock through the girl's body.

"YAH!" Jisoo shouts trying to kick Seulgi away, Seulgi smirks before disappearing.

Jisoo immediately looks around as she could hear Seulgi laughing, she hated Seulgi doing this. A stick lifts from the ground and flew toward Jisoo,

"You think-" Jisoo turns around only to be punched in the face by the girl, she falls back as Seulgi smirks.

"You think you can beat me?" Seulgi dusts herself off, she walks over to Jisoo and puts her arm out. "Ready?"

She looks at Jisoo's face seeing how the girl's eyes were a brown to grey color, Jisoo grabbed Seulgi's hand and pulled her down as Seulgi stared into those blank eyes.

"Uh, Guys?"

Jisoo's eyes go back to her brown color as she looks over seeing Jennie and her friends, Seulgi pulls away and looks at them.

"We brought food!" Lisa smiles as Seulgi stares at her, why is a-

Jisoo stands and placed her hand on Seulgi's shoulder, 'She's Jennie's friend.'

'She's not a human too."

'Yes, she is? Why did you say that?'

'because she-'

"Baby!" Chaeyoung appears next to Jisoo and hugs her causing the connection with Seulgi to break.

"Baby?" Jisoo questions confused as Chaeyoung inspects her face,

"We are dating right?" Chaeyoung says whipping the dirt away, Jisoo blushes deeply as she looks away.

"Seulgi Unnie?" Jennie catches her attention, "here!" Jennie hands her the bag of food as Seulgi looks in.

"We thought you guys would be hungry" Jennie smiles as Seulgi nods, "And we got Jisoo Unnie tea too!"

"You did?!" Jisoo pushed Chaeyoung away and rushed over, Jennie hands her sister the cup as Jisoo smiles happily.

"Thank you!"

Still, inside, Irene was cleaning the room when she felt a presence behind her.

"Yes?"

"Don't you think it's time you told them?"

"I've already had this talk."

"Jisoo is exactly like her mother, Irene, you know it."

"I'm not putting them in that cruel castle, it's hard enough that their parents had to be in there."

"You're afraid of losing them like what happened to you."

"S-shut up." Irene slammed the book down, "You don't know anything about me."

"Like what happened to you in that castle?"

"..."
