Everyone was eating breakfast until Jisoo walked down, she walked like a zombie to her seat. Jennie looks at her sister concerned as Wendy hands her a cup of blood, Jisoo stares at it and pales a bit.

"Are you okay?" Seulgi asked as Jisoo grabbed the cup and shakily brought it to her lips.

"Jisoo?"

The girl takes a drink before sighing, she looks over at Irene and frowns.

"I'm fine."

Chapter 21: Monster

Chaeyoung came to visit as Irene pulled her aside.

"Jisoo's a bit out of it today." Irene warns her, "She came back from her work last night."

"Work?" Chaeyoung asked confused as Irene looked at her confused.

"Yeah, her job?"

"I didn't know she had a job." Chaeyoung says, "but I'll talk to her." Chaeyoung smiles and leaves Irene alone.

She walks upstairs and knocks on the door to the older girls' room, she opened it to see how dark it was inside.

"Honey?" Chaeyoung calls out as she entered while closing the door behind her, "Are you okay?"

"I killed people..." Jisoo mumbled.

"I killed people, Chaeyoung."

Chaeyoung could see her gray eyes through the darkness of the room, she saw how Jisoo's eyes didn't have the natural glow.

"Why did you kill them?" Jisoo looked away as Chaeyoung sat beside her.

"They killed my family." Jisoo said, "those humans killed my parents and guardians." She says bitterly.

"But- I lost control," Jisoo says as her voice cracks, Chaeyoung held her hand as the older looks at the floor.

"I killed a family."

"I murdered the Dad."

"I murdered the Mom."

"I murdered the children."

"I murdered them all." Jisoo says as Chaeyoung frowns, "I- I couldn't control myself. Seola Unnie couldn't even stop me! She had to use the mirror to stop me."

"I'm a monster."

"Honey, you're not a monster. It happens, I killed plenty of people that never deserve it." Chaeyoung admits, "We all lost control. But that the part of growth."

"They didn't deserve to die." Jisoo broke down as Chaeyoung hugged her.

"You couldn't control it, you're a vampire. It's not easy for you." Chaeyoung reminds her, "just be glad you didn't start a war or anything else."

"What do I do?" Jisoo asks as Chaeyoung thought about it, she holds her hand out and a balloon appears.

She hands Jisoo the balloon and slightly smiled, "You have to control yourself."

"How do I do that?"

"No idea, but we can ask Wendy. She's pretty smart."

"Okay." Jisoo looks at the purple balloon, Chaeyoung pats her head and hugged her.

"Don't eat yourself alive, Okay?"

"Okay."

"God, I wish I had a girlfriend!" Seulgi complained as Jennie was finishing a puzzle, and the younger Kim chuckled while placing the piece down.

"You'll get one eventually, Unnie."

"Wendy has one, who knows about Irene, and Jisoo has one before me!"

"Well, Jisoo unnie's did come unexpectedly." Jennie mentioned, "But Wendy did get married before any of us."

"That's because she's dating a dog."

"Sooyoung isn't bad, she's pretty nice." Jennie says, "You just can't get along with her."

"She's annoying like Wendy, I like Chaeyoung more than Sooyoung." Seulgi plops down on the couch.

"Chaeyoung's annoying." Jennie says as she connected the corner pieces, "But she's gonna be family soon."

"Huh? How can you say that?"

"It's obvious Jisoo Unnie loves her, she's just bad at expressing her feelings."

"Yeah, she is...what about you Jennie?" Seulgi asked, "you don't like anyone yet?"

"I want to focus on my studies a bit more than to get in a relationship now." Jennie says looking over at her, "pluses people at my school are...human."

"True."

"What are you two doing?" Irene walks into the living room seeing the two talking, "Is Seulgi roasting Wendy again?"

"No, we were talking about relationships." Jennie answered, "have you been in love before, Unnie?"

Irene looks at her a bit taken aback, Seulgi instantly knew what the answer was. She knew Irene too well.

"I have." Irene nods joining Jennie on the floor, "She was the most beautiful lady I have ever seen."

"You sound old." Seulgi snorts as Irene glared at her.

"Anyways, I never made a move because I would be dead if I did." Irene smiles, "her parents were strict."

"You gave up?" Jennie asks, "just like that?"

"I did, but I got over it." Irene smiles, "I just don't bother with love anymore."

"#Single for life"

"I will slap you."

"Do it, I don't care."

"Gosh, Don't ever end up like Seulgi," Irene complained as she gets up and leaves the living room, Jennie shakes her head in disappointment.

"You're an idiot." Jennie glared at her, "You always fight with Irene Unnie."

"So? Irene knows it's a joke." Seulgi waves off, "she does."

"Gosh, I can't with you." Jennie stands up and leaves in disappointment.
