"Well, hello bride to be! Didn't expect to bump into you here." Raising her left eyebrow in a comical manner she said, "Enjoying your last days before eloping into a tragedy?"

Ignoring the last question, Jennie replied with a grin on her face, "I was just showing my friend around. It's her first time in Daegu."

The bookstore was bustling with customers. She wasn't sure why, as it was still the early hours on a weekday. The bookstore had glass windows, allowing a lot of sunshine to fall upon the books. It had wooden flooring as well as walls, making for very audible footsteps.

Jennie turned towards her left, "This is Kim Jisoo- my wedding planner. This is Rosé- my best friend and maid of honor."

Jisoo's smiled warmly at Rosé and Jennie was sure that she felt her heart skip a beat. The woman seemed to have managed to look even prettier today. She was dressed head to toe in black, with warm looking pullover and boot-cut jeans. Still looking at Rosé, her wedding planner said, "Well Jennie, you're quite lucky to have such a pretty lady around as your maid of honor." She said in a flirtatious manner, giggling slightly.

Rosé blushed crimson, "No! You're prettier! Haha..."

Jennie could feel a boiling pit of disgust climbing up to her throat as she watched her maid of honor and her wedding planner have a quarrel about who's prettier then proceed to talk about a variety of things that were frankly useless.

Rosé suggested that the three sit down on a nearby couch, to which Jisoo politely refused.

"You see I would love to. But I'm here for work-related purposes." She explained.

"Oh, are you? Then you should get going. It's so incredibly rude of us to disturb you in the midst of your work! Come on Rosie, let's get going-"

"It's no disturbance really! But I'll be sure to catch up with you guys later on." Jisoo interrupted, still smiling. As the girl was leaving Rosé timidly asked her, "If you don't mind telling us. What is it that you are here for? Just out of curiosity hehe..."

Looking unfazed, she replied, "Actually, I'm a team member of this one wedding taking place in December. And the bride has a fifteen-year-old son, so the groom had asked me for a favor. He wanted help to pick out a gift for the boy's upcoming birthday."

Resting her elbow on a nearby magazine stand, she continued. "The boy is a complete history geek you see. So, I thought to buy him some book based on the messypoton or Sumtrain civilization or something. Though I know absolutely nothing about history."

'Evident', Jennie thought to herself after hearing the latter say "Mesopotamia" and "Sumerian".

She was shaken out of her judgmental thoughts by a sudden slap on her arm.

"Oh my god, how perfect! Jennie here is a history teacher! And she teaches 15 year olds! She can help you out with this right Jen?"

"H-huh? Um, I guess..."
