"The Victorian era was notorious for its weird and hazardous beauty standards. Victorian women loved the pale skin, red lips and thin waists that came with having tuberculosis so much so that they started contracting it on purpose. Romanticizing the disease, they also used makeup to redden their lips and make their skin appear lighter to emulate the 'tuberculosis look'."

"What did I just read?" Jisoo said, her eyebrows scrunched up in complete disbelief. "I mean, you've only scratched the surface of the weird beauty ideals of ancient times. If you want, I could recommend you some good books covering the topic..."

Jennie smiled seeing the eyes of the latter light up at her offer. "But not right now. We have to look for some battle centered books, don't we?"

Pouting her heart-lips, she responded, "I mean- that's what I remember hearing he was interested in."

The huge grandfather clock struck four. Catching the duo's attention.

It hadn't been too long since Rosé had departed and so they were just getting started. They began from the 'historical section' in the massive library. Jennie had refused the help from the librarian when the man offered to look for something suitable for them. She didn't want to come off as rude. But alas, like always, she couldn't really help but come off as a cranky know-it-all.

Jisoo seemed to be really fascinated with Jennie's job. Something Jennie once was herself, but as you know it, a bunch of uncivillised dumb kids, might just eat away at what was once your dream.

"I can't belive you're a history teacher! Like history... There must be so much to study!" She had said, causing Jennie to blush.

"Ha! Is this the section we should be looking in?" Said her wedding planner in a 'got-ya!' voice. Looking closely and reading under her breath, the brunnete felt a smile spread across her face, "Yup, this is it."

She pulled out "The art of War" by Sun Tzu. "I've read this, it's amazingly well-written. Do you think he would like this?"

"I don't know about that. But hey, it's cover has a dragon on it. Boys like dragons, don't they?" She said, as if unsure about the completely different species of 'boys'.

Reading the annoyed expression on Jennie's face, Jisoo quickly shut up. Proceeding to 'read' a book whilst holding it, very clearly, upside down.

-

"How about this one?"

"It looks so unreliable. Just look at the dumb cover!"

"What about this one? It's translated to pure hangul."

"It's translated?? He'll get too comfortable in hangul then, let's looks for an english one."

"How about this?"

"It's so dusty. He would get bullied to death for carrying this dirty excuse of a book..."

Pulling out another book from the huge stack she had placed one an oak table, Jisoo said in a tired voice. "This is literally written by Julius Ceasar..." Reading the unsure look Jennie was giving her, she braced rejection once again. Gosh! She wasn't sure if it was just her suggestions that sucked or if the girl in front of her was just picky as fuck.
