Chapter 8

It's has been roughly a year since Karl had met and slightly helped Quackity. Karl has never really been the same since Q left. Sapnap tried everything he knew that would cheer up his boyfriend but nothing really worked. Sapnap could clearly see the fake forced smile his boyfriend would put on to make him happy.

Sapnap just helped Karl with everything he could do to maybe have his boyfriend back to normal but he knew his loving boyfriend will never be the same till he found out if the man he met was safe or not. So with this Sap set off to find this random male that his boyfriend got so attached to, to hopefully see a genuine smile be placed on his boyfriend's face once again.

Friday 12:00 p.m.
Sap sighed as he was was on social media looking for any accounts under the name Quackity to maybe get a hint on where this guy could be but nothing came up, 'if he is being abused I doubt he would have any socials' Sapnap huffed to himself and closed his laptop and sighed. "Sap are you okay?" Karl just asked quietly as he was sitting on the couch.

Sapnap smiled and nodded, "mhm! just my work getting me a bit frustrated" Karl nodded and laid down on the couch and continued watching TV. Sapnap sighed a bit as he got up and went to the front door and put on his shoes on, "im going out!" he yelled to Karl but Karl didn't respond.

Sap just left and started to walk to the park to clear his head, 'Okay so if he doesn't have socials maybe his boyfriend does?' Sap thought. 'But if thats the case what was his name?' Sap thought trying to remember as Karl had brought up his name a few times when he was telling Sap about Q. Sapnap knew he couldn't bring up Quackity to Karl as he was sensitive about the topic so asking him about the abusive boyfriend was out of the question.

"Quack" Sap stopped and turned facing the pond that was a bit away from the path he was on, a person that Sapnap couldn't really make out as a boy or girl was sitting by the pond honking at the ducks as some of the ducks were sitting by them.

Sapnap smiled and laughed a bit, it was quite weird he had to admit but it was cute. "Quack!" The person honked again giggling, Sapnap smiled more seeing this person having the time of their life honking at ducks. Sapnap smiled and thought he could take a page out of this person's book and just enjoy life like them.

Sapnap soon walked over to the person, as the ducks ran away when Sap approached, the person stopped quacking and looked back at sap. Their gazes caught and sap could clearly see this person now, they was a he, he had dark hair like himself but beautiful dark brown eyes, lovely tan skin and a sweet smile that was planted on his face.

"Oh um sorry to bother you sir, but I couldn't help to see you having such a good time with the ducks so I thought maybe I could join you?" Sapnap said slightly awkward not knowing what else to say realizing he sounds like a weirdo and a creep. The guy's smile seemed to fade when they looked at each other and he just nodded as he put his knees to his chest and hugged them.

Sapnap look slightly surprised he said yes but sap didn't complain and sat next to the other guy as the two sat in silence watching the pond and ducks. After a few minutes the ducks came back but kept their distance away from sap but sat next to the other person on the opposite side of sap. "The ducks really like you huh?" Sap asked smiling a bit.

The guys smiled and nodded, "mhm...I use to come here a lot when I lived around here.." he said quite softly petting a duck close to him. Sapnap smiled a bit, "Did you move back? or just visiting?" The guy didn't respond right away but kept petting the duck humming a bit, "Well I don't have a place yet, still looking for one, but im staying with a friend so I guess i'm moving back" Sapnap smiled and nodded, "That's good, its really pretty here and the people are nice, most come here for a fresh start or just a get away, so its nice to have an old face even if I didn't talk to you before"

The guy nodded and smiled a bit as he hugged his knees again. "Im Sapnap by the way" Sap said reaching out his hand to the guy. "....Names Quackity" Quackity said smiling a bit and took Sapnap's hand shaking it. The two smiled at each other and sat at the park together in nice and comfortable silence.

Friday 9:57 p.m.
Sapnap yawned and rubbed his eyes as he woke up from the nap he took in the park. Sapnap blushed as he realized his head was in Quackity's lap and Quackity was on his phone. "A-ah sorry..." Sapnap said in embarrassment and quickly got up to not have his head on Quackity's lap anymore.

Quackity looked at sap as he hugged his knees again, "you're fine, but you seem tired. Not getting enough sleep..?" Quackity asked quietly clearly knowing it wasn't his place to ask but also knowing it might help the stranger he met a few hours ago to talk about it with someone who really doesn't know him. Sapnap sigh a bit and nodded, "Yes actually...my boyfriend has been really broken up over this guy he was helping and um I just want to see his smile again to be honest....his genuine sweet smile"

Quackity looked over at Sap and nodded as he hesitantly patted sap's head a bit. "I'm sorry to hear that, I'm sure your boyfriend will get over it. You just gotta make sure your there for him and make him know your always gonna be there" Sap just looked over at Quackity and smiled a bit, "yea you're right Quackity, thanks I should get going now then I don't want him to worry."

Quackity nodded watching sapnap get up and stretch, "Yea okay, see ya sapnap" Sapnap smiled and nodded as he waved bye to Quackity and started walking home. 'Right I need to make sure Karl knows I am here for him' Sap thought as he slightly rushed home to his lover.
