Chapter 21

Saturday 6:00 a.m.
After George dragged Quackity inside and made him eat some breakfast George started bombarding Q with questions which lead Q to explain everything that happened from when he met Sapnap and Karl at the beginning of the week. "Annnddd that's where I have been for the past few days" Quackity said sighing as he looked at George who had a mixture of feelings from appreciation, grieve, and surprisingly angry. Quackity slightly tapped on the table nervously as he waited for George to say something good or bad, he just wanted the uncomfortable silence over with.

"Are you sleeping with them?" was all George said which made Quackity's face heat up and look at George in disbelief he even asked something like that, "I-What!?" "Answer Quackity." "Of course not! Didn't you hear the part where I said they are in a relationship together!? Or the part where I said I wasn't ready for a relationship so take this in a platonic way!?" Quackity just asked in embarrassment and disbelief. "Then why are you wearing their clothes?" George just spoke as he studied Quackity's reaction now.

Quackity just had a pink hue come across his face as he looked down at the table in front of him, "B-because I b-borrowed some" George scoffed he knew Quackity was lying but why not tell one of his closest friends? "Can you just cut the bullshit Q? Why don't you want to talk to me?! I am one of your closest friends!" George pleaded as he sighed and took a breath, "I just don't want you in that position again Quackity, I don't want you hurt, I don't want you to show up out of no where telling me and Dream what the fuck happened to you, I just-...I don't think I can go through that again with you"

Quackity was still looking at the table as George spoke, he knew it, he was being a burden to George and Dream all those times where he asked if they wanted him to leave and they said no was for him. He was being selfish by staying with them and he was doing the same thing with Sapnap and Karl, leaching off others since he was to much of a pussy to do things himself. "I'm sorry" was all Quackity said before he got up and walked out of the house. "Q- wait! I'm sorry I didn't mean it like that" George just said sighing as he followed Quackity. Quackity just stopped once he reached the front door and turned to face George, "no you're right, you and Dream never asked for me to dump my problems on to you. You never asked to deal with my night terrors, panic attacks, or anything else. I was being selfish, I shouldn't have never came to you, I am sorry for making your life hell George, trust me you won't hear from me again. So you can finally stop worrying about someone like me" was all Q said with a small smile before he walked out and left.

George just stood their for a minute, 'h-his blaming himself..?' was all George thought. It wasn't Q's fault he ended in a relationship like that, or his nightmares, panic attacks, or anything at all, it was never Q's fault just someone like Schlatt who did something so horrible to him. George felt like shit, ya sure he wanted Q to go back to normal but he saw the way he spoke about this Karl and Sapnap. Q was in love or at least had crushes on them, and George didn't want Q to be in that position again if it was true, plus how George didn't handle it well mentally when Q told him and Dream he was abused for years.

'Damn' George thought as he slowly made his way to the couch and sat down thinking about what Q had just said. Quackity clearly never intended to make George's life hell and he wasn't at all so why blame himself for that? George actually quite liked having Q as a roommate minus the nights he would wake up to Quackity's screams but it was expected with what he had gone through. George sighed he shouldn't have said that to Q, he didn't mean anything by what he said but he should have know Q would take something more out of his words and he meant.

As the time passed and George sat on the couch feeling like the scum of the earth then the front door opened to a tall dirty blond. "Hey gogy!" he just hummed happily when he saw George on the couch but frowned a bit as he saw George wasn't doing so well, so he walked over and sat down next to him pulling George on his lap and wrapped his arms around George. "Sooo you gonna tell me what's up? or is this about you being worried for Quackity?" George stood silent for a moment as he cuddled into his boyfriend's warm and welcoming embrace before he sighed, "I fucked up bad Dream"

Saturday 10:48 a.m.
Dream nodded as he listened to his boyfriend explain what had taken place earlier that morning, "George, hun, you know that's not your fault right?" George didn't answer just rather buried his face between Dream's neck and should, "How can it not be...?" he asked as he slightly whimpered. Dream kissed George's head and pulled away from him so he could cup George's face in his hands, "Well for starters you were just trying to be a good friend no?, you didn't mean to make Q feel like he was a burden, and I personally think you didn't mean what you said in a negative way. It was just one of those things where people unfortunately look into it to much"

George slightly nodded as he took a long breath and just cuddled Dream. "Wanna nap? You look exhausted my love" Dream said as he carefully moved his arms in position to pick up George bridal style, George nodded as he slightly yawned and held onto Dream, "please? I-....I just want to forget today ever happened." Dream nodded kissing George's head and picking him up and getting off the couch and walking to their bedroom. Dream placed George down on the bed and got in next to him and pulled the covers over them, "better?" Dream asked as he played with George's hair a bit.

George just swatted Dream's hand away from his hair and scooted closer to Dream burying his face into Dream's chest holding Dream's waist, "better" George finally spoke as he closed his eyes. Dream laughed a bit and wrapped his arms around George and kissed his head slightly playing with George's hair once again, "good"
