Chapter 12

Tuesday 1:59 p.m.
"So why were you crying in the park?" Sapnap asked as he looked at Quackity dead in the eyes. Quackity absolutely hated eye contact, he shifted uncomfortably when he caught a glimpse of Sap staring at him, "...." Sapnap just patted Quackity's head sighing a bit, "you don't have to-" then Sap realized Quackity had flinched. When he lifted his arm, Q flinched when he put it on top of  Q's head he flinched, and come to think of it when he hugged Q at the park he seemed to flinch and cry a bit more, 'why?' was all Sap could think.

Pulling away Sapnap looked at Q worried, "Why are you flinching Quackity? i-..is someone hurting you?" Quackity clearly tensed up and played with his hand looking down, "m-maybe I should go.." Sapnap frowned and took Quackity's hands, "Hey Quackity I know we only have know each other since Sunday but you can tell me, I won't judge you. Life is fucked up and its how we mange with the shit thrown at us is how people really see us. Karl sees you as a strong, funny, kind person because he had an idea I guess of what you were going through, and he looks up to you in a way since from what he told me, you always have a smile on your face and a laugh to give"

Quackity let out a small whimper and pulled his hands away hugging his knees, "....d-do you really think so..?" Sapnap smiled a bit glad that he was making some progress as he nodded, "of course! Karl has been so worried about you this past year he just wants to make sure your okay!" Quackity smiled a bit thinking about how someone he barely met was so worried about him after all this time.

"C-can he come here..? I-I think I wanna talk with him to.." Q said not wanting to be rude to sap but also not wanting him to leave either. Sapnap smiled and nodded as he got up, "yea of course I'll go get him plus something to drink if thats alright?" Quackity nodded slightly blushing seeing sap's smile, "yea can I have a water?" Sapnap nodded and left the room.

Quackity let out a long sigh of relief when Sapnap had left the room. Quackity feels safe with them, something he doubt he was gonna feel in a long time but here it is. Maybe its the way Karl seems to always be happy and bubbly around him and not treat him like a fragile broken person like George and Dream tend to do from time to time. Unless its the way Sapnap seems like this scary person, but once you talk to him he is cool, laid back, care free type of guy who you know when he is genuinely worried about you and not being that fake worried people do to make them look like a caring person when they couldn't give two shits.

Whatever the reason for Q to feel safe with them he loves it, he loves the feeling they give him, the way their words seem to just fit right with them, the way they smile is definitely a thing he loves, or maybe he just loves them? 'Love them?' Q thought hugging his knees tighter staring out the window. Then he scoffed and snickered at the idea, even though he wouldn't mind being in a relationship with both of them he knows he couldn't. 'Why not? they would understand if you told them' Q debated in his own head if he should make a move or suffer in silence.

Quackity sighed in defeat and laid on the bed closing his eyes, he can't because for starters they are both dating each other, and no way they were gonna open there relationship to a stranger like him, second he is not ready? Q thought about this, is he ready for another relationship? After everything he went through with Schlatt is going into a relationship even a good idea? Plus he still had his nightmares, panic attacks, and flashbacks to the abuse that he doubts ANYONE wants to deal with. He was just gonna be a burden again.

Dream and George dealt with it ya but they are kind of forced to when Q wakes up in the middle of the night screaming them awake from a nightmare. Quackity sighed as he slowly started to drift to sleep, 'They only let you stay out of pity, Dream and George don't care. Karl and Sapnap don't care' Q sighed at his thought, it was hurtful yes but yet a reality check thought that won't let him be. He curled up in the sheets cuddling them to get warmer and find a comfortable position to sleep in and soon he was out like a light.

"He is sleeping" Karl whispered to Sapnap as he closed the door to the room Q was in. Sapnap nodded as he was holding a cup on tea and water and set it down by a nearby table. "Maybe thats a good thing? Seems like he barely sleeps" Sapnap said to Karl, shrugging it off. Karl sighed and nodded as he hugged Sap, "Maybe Sappy....maybe" Sapnap sighed and patted Karl's back as he gave him a peck on the lips, "Cmon Karl, let go to sleep to, then in the morning you'll talk to him" Karl slightly blushed at the kiss but nodded at his lover walking to the bedroom, "Alright love."

Wednesday 4:36 a.m.
"STOP!" Sapnap woke up with a jolt, he rubbed his eyes looking around the room. Karl was still sleeping, cuddling up to Sapnap. Sapnap sighed and kissed Karl's head before slipping out of Karl's arms and walking out of the bedroom. 'Someone yelled stop' Sapnap thought as he looked around the house yawning a bit. After a while of looking Sapnap found nothing not like he thought he would anyways.

Sapnap sighed as he was walking back to the bedroom he laid his eyes on the guest room door. He haven't checked there yet but Quackity was sleeping in the room. Sap sighed as he stood in-front of the door staring. Sap slowly opened the door and peeked in the room. He could barely see in the room since it was dark but the moonlight from the window helped Sap see. However what Sapnap saw broke his heart, Quackity was in a fetal position shaking like crazy and mumbling something, Sapnap couldn't see his face as it was buried in his knees.

Sapnap frowned and slowly knocked on the door as he walked into the room towards Quackity, "Quackity..? you okay..?" Quackity whimpered as his sobbing and mumbling got louder, "i-im sorry...i-i didn't mean to make y-you upset schlatt...im sorry, p-please don't hurt me" Sapnap's heart just broke more, someone WAS hurting Quackity, and whoever this Schlatt guy was, he was most likely the reason why Q barely sleeps. He is the reason Q has nightmares about the beatings. Sapnap thought and he sat next to Q and carefully wrapped his arms around him.

Quackity flinched and cried more whimpering, Sapnap kissed Quackity's head softly and sighed, "hey its okay Q sssshhhhh Schlatt won't hurt you while your here Quackity, I won't allow it. Karl won't allow it." Sap said whispering comforting sweet words to Q as he rubbed Quackity's back slightly and holding on of his hands rubbing his own thumb on it to comfort Q more. After a while of this there was knock on at the door and the lights turned on.

Sapnap quickly shut his eyes due to the sudden light after a minute or two to adjust and opened his eyes and looked at the door. Karl was staring at the two with a worried look at Quackity then walked over to the two and sat on the bed looking at Sap for some sort of answer. Sapnap nodded to Karl a bit to say he knows why Q is like this but also a way to tell him later. Karl nodded and sat on the other side of Quackity and wrapped his arms around the smaller male to and started to whisper sweet nothings to Q, telling him that Q was so pretty, sweet, and funny.

Sapnap could feel a ting of jealousy when he heard what Karl was whispering to Q but cuddled Q to comfort him more and pushed his feelings aside. Karl continued as Quackity soon stopped sobbing and fell asleep. Sapnap sighed and looked over at Karl and carefully laid down hold Q close to him and making him lay down to. Karl sighed and laid down with them and cuddled them to. "In the morning Q needs sleep, we need sleep" Sapnap said cuddling the two knowing Karl probably wants an answer since Q was asleep now.

Karl nodded and kissed sap's cheek and cuddled Quackity more to comfort him but to Sap it seemed it was for himself, so Karl knows Q would be okay now since they were there. Sapnap sighed and cuddled both of them and drifted to sleep.
