Chapter 31

Tuesday 5:28 p.m.
"Sooo where we heading to?" Quackity questioned as he was in the backseat of the car while Sap was in the driver seat and Karl in the passenger seat. "You'll see!" Karl exclaimed as he looked back at Q and winked a bit making the duck hybrid blush and look away, "o-okay" Sapnap looked at the rear view mirror and smiled as he saw Q all flustered up. Karl just giggled and smiled wide like he had won a great prize or something. As Sap drove to wherever Karl and Sap started to ask Q some questions about himself like what type of video games he liked and any questions that the two could make small talk with.

"We're here" Sapnap said as he parked the car as Karl and Q stopped mid-conversation to look where they were. Quackity looked a bit confused as he didn't recognize where they were but got out of the car to have a better view of the place. "Where the hell are we?" Q asked as he looked around more once outside to see they were in a huge parking lot with a medium sized building just a bit away but it looked like a hella popular place due to the people outside. "We are at a really nice restaurant" Sapnap answered as he walked over to Q and extended his hand for Q to take, "Me lady?" Quackity laughed and rolled his eyes and took Sap's hand as he looked over at Karl who was doing something on his phone, "Karl what are you doing?"

Karl looked up and went to the two as he put his phone away, "Sorry I just need to take care of something" Quackity nodded a bit as he reached out his freed hand for Karl to take. Karl gladly took it with a smile and brought Q's hand to his lips and planted a small kiss on them, "You really are gorgeous Q" Sapnap huffed as his demon tailed flicked almost angrily, "Okay Karl enough trying to butter up Q" Karl and Quackity just laughed at Sap's jealousy before all three started to make there way to the oh so popular restaurant. "So why is this place so popular?" Quackity asked as he looked at the two who glanced back before Karl answered, "Well for starters the food is absolutely incredible and maybe because they have food from all over the world and each dish is made by a chef from the place the dish is from"

Quackity nodded a bit as he thought of all the food options the restaurant could possibly have, "Oh how expensive is it? I wanna make sure I even brought enough to pay for my food" Sapnap shook his head and rubbed his thumb over Q's hand, "Uhhh what are you talking about? This is our first official date and me and Karl are not gonna let you pay for your stuff" Quackity huffed and rolled his eyes as he let go of the two's hands before reaching in his pocket for his wallet before realizing it was not there, "Wha- where is my wallet?-" "You mean this wallet?" Sapnap asked as he held out a blue wallet with a duck in space on the front. "How did you-" Q questioned as he glared at Sapnap before reaching for it.

Sapnap pulled the wallet away and shook his head, "ah ah, No wallet, I can not have you pay on our date, plus I am a master pick-pocketer" Karl laughed a bit and rolled his eyes, "Sapnap was a very rebellious teen" "Wha- I was not!" Sapnap scoffed as he tried to defend himself as Q and Karl laughed. Soon the three made it to the restaurant and the three walked in skipping the line making a bunch of people mad. Quackity looked a bit unsure to skip the line but once the hostess greeted Karl and Sapnap by name Q was less nervous but now more suspicious about the situation. "Hey Niki! is our table ready?" Karl greeted Niki back who just nodded and gestured for the three to follow her as they made small talk while Q just awkwardly followed. "Anddd here are your seats love bugs~" Niki hummed as she placed the menu's down and left. Sapnap and Karl thanked Niki and Karl sat down as Sap pulled Q's chair out and bowed slightly. Quackity couldn't help but blush and smiled a shy smile as he sat down and Sap pushed in the chair.

Once all three were seated at the table they started to talk about the menu and drinks before Q slightly steered their conversation in a different direction, "so um how does the hostess know your guy's names? Must come here a lot huh?..." Sapnap and Karl looked at Q before shaking there heads, "mmm not really, we come like once every 2 years or something" Karl said as he placed down his menu and reached for Q's hand. Quackity blushed as Karl interlocked their fingers then looked over to Sap who cleared his throat to get Q's attention, "ahem, and we know Niki via mutual friends me and Karl stream with this guy called Wilbur and he knows Niki"

"Wilbur?...Like Wilbur Soot?" Quackity questioned as he looked over at Sap. Sapnap and Karl both looked at each other confused before nodding as the two brought their attention back to Q, "Yea Wilbur Soot, do you know him?" Quackity nodded a bit as he let go of Karl's hand and leaned in the chair like the mention of Wilbur brought up some memories, "uhhh yea, yea... We were friends for a bit" Sapnap and Karl nodded at Q a bit, Karl dismissing the strange behavior while Sapnap thought he would press on the matter later, most likely after the date. "So I think I am about to get the steak you two?" Sapnap asked scanning the menu once again before looking at Karl and Q. "Wellll" Q hummed looking at the menu.
