Chapter 44

After a night in the hospital Quackity was sent back home. And Tubbo 100% wanted to be with Q 24/7 now, worried he might lose his parent again. Of course Phil said okay to this but it was up to Q, Sap, and Karl if it would be okay for Tubbo to stay with them. Once Q returned home he, Sapnap, and Karl all talked it out and thought it would be best for Tubbo to stay with them so Tubbo got Quackity's room and Quackity officially moved into the master bedroom with Sapnap and Karl. Tubbo was really happy now that he had a parent he could call his own and was really excited to spend time with Q.

A month later everything was going well and Tubbo even started to take a liking to Sapnap and Karl unlike before where he was overprotective of Q and would start 'hitting' Karl and Sap for even kissing Q. Of course it never hurt Karl and Sap, they thought it was rather cute however they missed kissing their favorite Duck boi so of course they practically worship Tubbo like a god to get his approval to kiss their boyfriend. However nothing worked so they stopped and only when Tubbo saw how happy they made Q he let them kiss him.

Monday 3:24 p.m.
"Mama! I am home!" Tubbo yelled as he got into the house and put his backpack down by the door and ran to the kitchen to start looking for Q. When Tubbo didn't find Quackity in the kitchen he checked the living room next and he found Q there but also Karl, the two spending some time together. "Noooo Karl" Quackity hummed as he was just looking at his phone. Karl pouted and took Q's phone and face it down on Q's chest so Q could look at him, "Prwtty plweaseeee" Quackity just couldn't help but laugh slightly as he shook his head, "nope, no kisses"

Karl frowned the smiled which made Quackity a tad bit confused, "What?" "TICKLES FOR KISSES!" Karl semi-shouted and started tickling Quackity who just squirmed and laughed as he smiled and tried to tell Karl to stop, "W-WAIT KARL! HAHA! PLEASE! KARL S-STOP! HAHAHA!" Karl just giggled as he continued before stopping which Quackity took the opportunity to catch his breath. "I'll continue unless I am given my daily kiss" Karl hummed as he made some kissy noises while he waited for his kiss. Quackity just couldn't help but laugh at Karl's childish behavior but he cupped Karl's face and planted the awaited kiss Karl was waiting for.

Tubbo just watched the scene unfold and slightly cringed at them acting all sappy. Tubbo understood Karl and Sapnap's relationship with his Mama yet that didn't stop him from being overprotective of Q since he unfortunately had some faint memories of Quackity and Schlatt. However seeing how happy Karl was making Q in this moment Tubbo started to think and left the room quietly so Quackity nor Karl heard him. When Tubbo went upstairs to his room he sat on his bed and thought about any other time he had seen Q that happy, even though his memory was a bit faint when it came to remembering before he was living with Phil.

After a while Tubbo snapped out of thought when Sapnap knocked on the door, "Hey Tubbo you okay? Your mom called you for lunch and you didn't answer." Tubbo stared at Sapnap and just nodded as he got of his bed and walked past Sap to the dinning room, "Ya I am okay, sorry for not answering." Sapnap rasied an eyebrow at the kid but shrugged it off as he followed him to the dinning room, "Don't worry about it kid." The two got to the dinning room and sat down as Karl was doing the same and already eating. Quackity came in and brought Tubbo his plate of food and kissed his head, "Hey mi patito (my duckling or little duck), I gotta go to work today so Sapnap and Karl will be taking care of you for a bit okay?"

Tubbo just smiled at Quackity and nodded, "Oki mama, but you will be home to sing to me later..?" Quackity just smiled and kissed Tubbo's cheek slightly messing up his hair when Q stood up, "Hey I promised I would sing to you every night till you told me to stop didn't I?" Tubbo's goat tail just started to wag as he nodded with a smile on his face, "Uh-huh! Okay, bye Mama Q! Love you!" Karl and Sapnap just both smiled at the two happy to see the small family well happy. Quackity nodded and told Tubbo he loved him to and waved bye to Sap and Karl as they returned the wave saying bye and an i love you as well.

Once Quackity was heard out the door the three ate in peace till suddenly Tubbo stopped eating. Karl seemed to notice and stop eating as well, "Hey Tubbo, why aren't you eating your spaghetti? Your mom made it for you." Tubbo looked at Karl and slightly nodded, "Well I have something on my mind I want to tell you and Sap." Karl just nodded and gestured for Tubbo to continue as Sapnap gave Tubbo a thumbs up since his face was stuffed with spaghetti already. Tubbo couldn't help but laugh a bit at Sap's face be just nodded slight, "Okay um I want you two to marry Mama Q."
Karl's eyes immediately widen as he began to blush a light pink. Sapnap on the other hand just almost choked on the spaghetti in his mouth but he managed to keep it down and swallowed it before he asked, "I-I-... Why do you want us to marry your mom all of a sudden Tubbo?"

Tubbo shrugged slightly but he took a deep breath, "Well I want Mama Q to be happy. I was thinking and all of my time living with mama he has always been smiling around you two and I can tell he really is happy with you two.... I remember sometimes how he was with Papa. He was always crying and sad.... I don't want mama to be sad again like that and since you two made him happy I thought you two marrying him would make sure Mama Q is always happy.." Karl and Sapnap couldn't help but feel bad for Tubbo that he remembered what life was like living with Schlatt but they also were so touched by the innocence of Tubbo that all he wanted was to see his Mama happy.

"Absolutely Tubbo, me and Karl would love to marry your mom." Sapnap said and slightly patted Tubbo's hair. Tubbo just smiled and looked at Sap as his tail wagged, "Really!?" Karl smiled and nodded, "Ya of course and we promise to always make your mom happy" Tubbo nodded at Karl super excited and happy, "Oki!"
