It was a typical normal day for you, sleeping in. Except there was one small detail you didn't give consent to.

Getting a cold.

Somehow you thought a day before that you should run around in the rain with barely anything but your pjs and now you caught mother nature's nastiest breeze of doom.

Your boyfriend Redson, son of the Demon Bull King warned you to not go outside while he was at work but little did he know you'd disobey his order. He dislikes when things don't go his way.

Now here you are, suffering the consequences of the cold and soon by Redson.

"Lightfire I'm home~"

You were ready for the scolding however you wanted to have some fun. You immediately hid under the bed.

Redson took off his jacket, looking around before he headed upstairs.

"Darling, where are you?" Redson chuckled, he knew you always liked to play games. Hide n seek was always your go to in the house you shared with him.

He at first thought you were childish meeting you but overtime he practically enjoyed the lively energy you had.

He entered the room you both share and he looked around.

"Are you on here!?" He opened the closet near the bathroom, he found nothing.

Redson thought for a second until he realized something was off with the bed. It looked used as the blankets were moved around. He glanced at the direction of underneath it as he smirked.

He knew the house wasn't that large enough for you to hide in well, it was easily limited unfortunately.

You however stayed as quiet as possible before you felt a sneeze coming in. You tried to hold it in until you got pulled by the leg on the other side.

"EEP!" You stated in panick.

"Gotch you~" Redson sung. "Better luck next time lightfire~"

"Damn-" Before you could even finish the statement, you let out a sneeze.

"Did you get sick?!" Redson worry mode was turned on, as he checked your temperature. "How did you-"

"I may or may not have went in the rain.." You smiled shyly before coughing. "Suprise?~"

Redson's right eye twitched, ready to scold you before he let out a hard sigh.

"I would start going on about how you shouldn't have done that but clearly you know that I would." Redson frowned.

"Yeah..sorry." You smiled softly. "It's so much fun in the rain, I couldn't help it."

"Yes I'm aware it's rather entertaining in some mortal way. But now you're sick and need proper care." Redson stated as he scoffed.

"I'll be okay, usually mine don't last for long." You tried to get up only to stumble, thankfully Redson kept his grip on you.

"You aren't gonna do anything but rest dear." Redson picked you up bridal style and placed you on the bed. "I'll be taking care of you~"

You didn't mind being with Redson, you had hoped of doing other things this week with him considering he's always busy.

"But I wanna be with you and do fun stuff.." You whined causing Redson to chuckle.

"Lightfire, I'll be here all week as you recover." Redon smirked.

"It's not just that...I wanna spend time with you a lot more than just a week. But you're always busy.." You frowned.

Redson was shocked that you were feeling this way while he was working on the bull clones for his father. He sighed as he put his hand on your cheek delicately.

"I'm afraid I have been rather preoccupied with my work far too long." He sighed. "I'll make sure that's not always the case, my apologies darling."

He pulled you into an embrace as you hugged him back.

"I don't blame you, just worried." You smiled shyly before blushing. "And I miss you a lot."

He chuckled at you before pecking your forehead. "Well considering you disobeyed me and got yourself a cold, it seems as though I have to watch over you like a hawk from now on."

"Works with me!" You smiled before you rested on the bed as he covered you with a blanket. He then walked into the bathroom and got medicine for your cold.

He came back holding the bottle and a spoon as you gave him a disgusted face. He started to try to make you drink it only to result in you not opening your mouth whats so ever.

"If you take this, I'll cuddle with you~" He smirked which instantly made you finally take it.

"Bleh, it tastes nasty." You stuck out your tongue. Unknown to you, Redson had gotten in the bed with you after putting the medication down on the counter next to the bed.

"Yeah but enough of that darling~" Redson playfully rolled his eyes as he pulled you by the waist. "I must do what I promised."

You ended up facing him as his arms wrapped around your body. You were practically pressed up against his chest, blushing hard at the contact.

"Geez, you're freezing!" Redson frowned as he put his hand on your forehead.

"Thankfully I have a personal heater as a boyfriend!" You giggled as he smirked at you.

"Indeed you do~" He started to rise his temperature a little, he didn't want to exactly cook you alive.

You snuggled against his chest feeling his comfy warmth radiate. He found it adorable on how you got around him, it was perfect. You were perfect.

"I love you Redson." You mumbled before you slowly drifted to sleep. He gave you a peck on the forehead as he smiled, watching you sleep.

"Rest easy Lightfire, I'll be here."

"I love you too."
