So you decided throughout your life that you'd never talk about your actual identity.

There were many reasons but one being judged and ridiculed. It even got to physical abuse at a point which scarred you.

You were practically half monkey, half human. You looked like a human, although your ears were replaced with monkey ears and you had a tail.

You ended up having your tail under your clothes while you wore accessories on your head to cover those ears of yours. The friends you made in the city figured you only had a style. Little did they know.

Unaware, it turns out that Macaque and Wukong decided to look into it more since they were suspicious. They could sense some sort of feeling whenever they were near you. Not to mention you always changed topics when it came to you.

All three of you had already developed feelings for one another and even went on your first date which turned out amazing. Then it continued on for the next couple of months. This secret of yours was the only thing weighing you down really.

[Present Time]

It was pitch black outside at the moment. You were fast asleep in your house, snoring while dreaming of fun things you could do with the talking chimpanzees.

You giggled at your remarks on them. It always got to them. At one point you called Wukong a unripped orange which caused him to go wild and get all flustered. As for Macaque...that emo sea urchin comment made him hunt you down in the darkness and pull a lot of jump scares.

At the end of the day they still loved and cared about you. They did always laugh at the end so they weren't too offended, just shocked on how you see their resemblances.

Wukong and Macaque at the moment had decided to come over and inspect the place. At first it was gonna be a surprise that they're gonna hangout with you in the morning, but now it's an addition to the real plan.

They got in through the bedroom window of yours. And noticed you were fast asleep, hugging your pillows.

"Aww..." Wukong smiled. "Now that is so cute I can't."

"Definitely coming every night now." Macaque chuckled quietly.

It was best to avoid waking you up otherwise it'll cause chaos. They both carefully went around the room, scavenging for any clues. Honestly these two didn't know what they were looking for but they wanted answers.

"Remind me why we're doing this again?" Macaque groaned, rubbing his eyes as Wukong's tail flicked to one side.

"We're trying to find out why y/n has been so secretive." Wukong smiled.

"Can't we just- oh I don't know ask?" Macaque scoffed.

You on the other hand was starting to have a nightmare occur causing you to mumble in your sleep. This immediately caught their attention as they carefully headed towards you.

"S-stop." You spoke. "Let...me go-"

The nightmare was a memory specifically when you first had been physically attacked just for being part monkey. Part human wasn't enough.

"I-I'm nor-mal...I swear!" You started to turn to your sides, whimpering.

"Lotus wake up." Macaque shake your shoulder, but it was no use. You started to cry as you gripped onto your arms.

"Hey woah, peaches wake up!" Wukong got on the bed and started to shake you awake.

Eventually you did wake up by jolting upwards, breathing hard. You started to take deep breathes and you felt a hand pull you into a hug.
