It's not everyday you get kidnapped.

Honestly it was surprising to say the least. You figured you'd be killed by now but no, instead you're in front of the famous spider queen who caused immense chaos upon the city.

You were disguised as a human arachnologist, you needed to be one considering you knew a lot more about spiders than an average person so you took the idea that your career should be based on it. You never experimented on spiders though, that was a trick to the human eye. You took care of them like your own.

It seems as though that reputation as a mortal dragged you into a nest of spiders. With the Queen herself.

Now here you are, tied upon a chair facing spider demons who were just starring at you.

"Does this one speak?" The Spider Queen spoke in annoyance.

That's right. The Spider Queen had a nasty attitude towards anyone she considered low leveled even the great sage himself. Honestly it didn't surprise you but you would never disrespect her, she was sort of your celebrity when you were a kid.

"My queen if I may?" One of her minions spoke.

It wasn't just any minion, it was the guy who kidnapped you in the first place. He had green hair with purple skin, mechanical spider legs coming out of his back. He looked practically intriguing to you.

The Spider Queen nodded at his request as he walked towards you with a straight face as he stood right next to you.

"This mortal is an arachnologist." He flicked your the side of your forehead causing you to hiss at him.

"Someone who studies spiders?" The queen cocked an eyebrow while smirking. "Even experimenting on them?"

"I would never do such a thing." You smiled, startling them with your voice. You haven't spoken for hours in the cave it felt like and now you finally have.

"Oh so you do speak~" The queen chuckled.

"Indeed I do, your majesty." You stated. "Now what is it that you need from me?."

She hummed at how you behaved, something about you seemed odd. In her eyes, usually human would be freaking out over a spider but you are completely different.

"I have two options for you." She smirked. "Either you work for me now or..."

"Or?." You tilted your head.

"I get you killed." She leaned down towards your face.

You stayed silent trying to hold in a laugh. You ended up snickering grabbing their attention hard. The Spider Queen cocked an eyebrow at you while her henchmen widened their eyes.

"What's so funny hm?" The guy next to you with mechanical spider legs snarled.

"Oh I don't care if I get killed." You chuckled.

"WHAT?!" The Spider Queen along with her minions yelled in unison.

"That's preposterous, all mortals are scared of death." One of the other minions stated.

"Ohh.." You started to snicker again. "PFF you guys think I'm one of them."

Before any of them could say anything, you turned off your disguise. You had light blue skin while your hair became white. Your ears and your teeth turned sharp. Small light blue spots were shown below your right eye and even on your left cheek. Meanwhile your eyes were pure white but your pupils were yellow.

"One of us?" The Spider Queen looked shocked until she started smiling. "Now that's intriguing."

"Pleasure to meet the one and only Spider Queen." You chuckled. "Mind letting me go? I promise I don't bite."

"Untie him." The Spider Queen squinted her eyes at you, she was cautious of what you could do.

Once they untied you, you ended up stretching your arms out.

"Thanks cutie." You winked towards the green haired guy, you could see his expression being shocked but also flustered by the name. You even took off your scientist jacket and sat back down.

"So on your choices for me." You sighed softly. "As much as it's all fun and games with death, I'd say working for you would suffice."

"Really?." The green haired looked at you surprised of the sudden change while you nodded.

"Alright, you'll be staying with Syntax." The Spider Queen smirked before walking away with two of her minions. You looked over to the man with mechanical spider legs, assuming he's the one she called Syntax.

"I presume I must escort you to my humble abode." He sarcastically stated as you hummed.

"That is if I get to steal a kiss from you?" You grinned as you saw his face turn red.

He led you to a lab and you ended up noticing a soft mattress to the right corner while the entire room was filled with endless types of gadgets.

You had to admit, it was rather clean for the amount of objects everywhere.

"I'll be working on my duties, so if you'll excuse me-" Syntax started before he noticed you slightly chuckling to yourself.

"What's so funny?" He leaned towards your face, squinting his eyes.

"Oh nothing~" You smirked. "You just said duty though."

"Really, your humor is down to that insignificant level?" He groaned in annoyance.

"In a matter of fact yes." You responded. "But~"

You started to walk closer to him, he noticed the change in behavior which made him back up against the wall.

"But what?" Syntax hesitantly stated.

"My interest level never seem to fail me." You whispered softly at him. "Considering I found the jackpot."

By now you could see his face turn a bit crimson from what you said while you pecked his cheek softly. This made you feel accomplished as you walked away and sat down on the mattress, leaving him flustered.

Syntax regained his composure and went back to working for the Spider Queen.

"You're a strange one." He mumbled. "And you missed."

"And you're a cute one." You winked at him, you didn't hear what he said last which made you curious.

"C-cute?" He looked at you with a flustered face as you chuckled softly. Your words must've really toyed with him.

"I think my presence is gonna be one adventure for you." You smiled at him.

Syntax stopped what he was doing and started walking towards you. You wondered if you said anything wrong as he didn't respond back.

It got to the point that your faces were incredibly close. You still sitting down as Syntax was standing infront of you. He took note of your face turning a bit red as he leaned towards one of your ears and spoke in a low voice.

"Looking forward to it darling~"
