I sat up and moved to the side of Scarlett still breathing heavily. She has a thin layer of sweat on her forehead and her hair is stuck to it. I grab a blanket from under my coffee table and place it over her naked body.
I check the time its 3 pm so i must go to work. I sigh and walk to my bathroom and take a quick shower then change into some casual clothes. I walk out to the lounge to see Scarlett is now asleep.
I smirk at the memory event that just happened. I right a quick note saying she can stay and i am at work. I walk out the door and drive to the cafe.
Once i got there i was greeted by my co-worker/ bestie Mia. She is the same age as me and we have known each other since the start of high school she has been my one and only best friend that entire time.
"Afternoon boss" she says happily making my say a good morning to her as well
"Has it been busy today?" i ask putting on my apron
"No not really but school is nearly over so they will run in soon" she said
It's true at 4-5 is our 'popular' hour because the kids from around the school come to our cafe and order something and just do there study's or homework in peace.
"Ok ill clean up and head out because im going on a date" she said excitedly making my jaw drop. Lily has never really been that kind of person to be that social, she has never thrown herself out there in the dating world so its very surprising
"Oh my god WHO?!" I yelled smiling
"Your won't believe it" she said blushing
"Are you going to say it orrrrrr" I said needing answers
"Ok Stephanie Moore" she said making my eyes go wide
Stephanie Moore was the most popular girl in school, guys, and girls even fly's were attracted to her
"Oh, my, GOD" I yelled thank god know one was in the cafe
Lily squealed and started jumping
"I know, I know I'm so excited" she said taking one deep breath " I have to get ready I do not want to be late" she said picking up her bag
She walked to the door
"Bye y/n" she said
"Go get then tiger" I said with a chuckle she flipped the finger at me through the glass making my chuckle again
About 5 minutes later people started rolling in getting the usuals which I have all memorised by now.
Skip to when work is over
So it's now 5:50 and I'm tired as fuck my other co-worker called in sick the last second so I had to deal with a tsunami of people there is know one in the shop right now
I decided to go on my phone.
I went to TikTok and the first video I saw was of Colin? And another woman? KISSING!!

I start to think of different things that could happen.
Is she mad? Probably
Is she sad? Of course she fucking will be
I checked the time to see it's 6:00 and made my way home
I carefully opened the door and here silence
I walk further in and out down my things again slowly walking further down the hallway
I walked past the kitchen, lounge and nothing. I checked the entire house except my bedroom
I walked up to it and found the door was nearly closed just a small gap but then it's was pitch black in there
"Scarlett" I called out into the room I still here nothing
I decided to walk completely into the room
I open the door more and turn on my dim lights. Once I do so I see the silhouette of a person under the covers
I walk up to that side of the bed and knee down getting level with the person. It's obvious it's Scarlett
Once I see her face I see her eyes are open and she is panting from all the crying obvious from the way patch and stains on her cheeks
"Scarlett" I said rubbing my hands and fingers along her cheeks only to be flinched away by.
"It's ok it's just me" I said but she changed emotion. She went from sad and crying to frowning her eyebrows and angry
"Get away from me" she said sternly and still angry. She has never been that angry you can just see it all building up in her eyes.
I stepped back when she opened the duvet covers showing me she in my clothes. And starts to walk to the bathroom.
"Scarlett?" I question and start walking behind her. She stops and faces me with anger making me confused. I know she is sad or and at Colin but why at me?
Ooooooh please dont tell me she regrets what we did. That would ruin out friendship. Please so—
"I regret what we did" she said making my heart sink fuck"i should have never done what i did, i wish you could have stoped me" she said with tears building up in her eyes. I sense of guilt rushed through me.

"Just leave" she said and walked into my bathroom. Did she just ask me to leave my own house?.
I walked to my closet and got a duffel bag and started to fill it up with clothes. I just needed to leave. I understand that we did the same thing as Colin and his new mistress but i don't regret it even though i don't know what I'm going to do with my friendship with her.
