Scarlett's POV

Y/n came out of the bathroom around 5 minutes later and we didn't have her hands covering her front making my wonder, did she? or did she just let it go down?

"Oh, don't thank me I have done nothing, oh and let me just say I love seeing you this happy I have never seen you this happy since Rose was born" she said making me blush "oh and you still need to tell me everything" she said before releasing me from the hug.

"You ready to go Scar?" I hear y/n's voice say behind me.

"Uh yeah let's go" I said turning around sending a final wave back at lizzie which she copied.

we peeled out of the driveway, and it was comfortable silence even though there was tension between y/n and I, as I unconsciously do sometimes, I started to pick at my nails and I felt y/n's hand take my hand away from the other, she interlaced our fingers and placed them on my thigh.

I closed my eyes taking a breath, feeling y/n rub her thumb along the knuckle of my index finger.

"Go to sleep baby you have had a long day" y/n say making me think back to today's events, I mean I didn't even swim and I'm still tired as fuck.

I didn't fight my eyes closing and before I knew it, I went to sleep.

I woke up feeling myself being carried, I didn't know I was a heavy sleeper, but these persons scent I knew it was y/n, like I mean who else would it be?

I just closed my eyes and not long after I felt myself be placed on the softness of the couch.

"Do you want me to put the kids to bed?" she asked in a soft voice in my ear making my body spread in goosebumps.

I nodded softly feeling y/n place a kiss on the crown of my forehead and walk off.

I feel like she does a lot of the work and I kind of feel bad, but I love how I feel more relaxed, and I actually have someone who partakes in taking care of the kids, cough cough Colin.

but maybe I could award her, tonight, all. night. long. But even though I said no.... eh doesn't matter.

Y/n's POV

I had to wake up Rose which I hate doing and tell her to brush her teeth and get changed but is it me but when I feel tired, and I brush my teeth I don't feel tired? not this girl I had to hold up this girl's head or she would have fallen asleep on the counter. when's he was done I tucked her in saying good night.

"You turn buddy" I mumble to myself picking up Cosmo, I sniffed is downstairs area and gagged, damn. this guy basically only drinks milk and it smells like that kid that you have to sit next to in school that does not wear deodorant, stanky.

I changed his nappy and put on some clothes for his, but he kept picking at it to take it off, he is like me, but not really. I take off his long sleeve t-shirt getting him comfortable and placed him in the cot.

I tun on the baby monitor before walking out closing the door and to the kitchen, I open the fridge and pick some grapes seeing which one is crunchier.

I check the microwave seeing its 12:20, eh maybe I can fit in some work, I grab my laptop from my office walking back into the lounge turning on the tv and putting it on low volume.

I just sat there replying to emails and ordering more things we need for the shop. I didn't hear anything before I saw my laptop close making my look up and see Scarlett in a silk beige robe. bro I don't want to give in though.
