Authors note: Au where sukuna is a water demon.  I hope y'all enjoy it's a long one.

How many years has it been again? The poor girl lost in this cruel world, all alone and no shoulder to lean onto. Of course she had a friend or two, but they could never understand the way she felt. No one could...and no one should. Sometimes, she just wished to be erased from this world, but sadly, it didn't come true, so she decided to block all her emotions inside, block everyone who wanted to befriend her...it would be better....right?

"I'm sick of it!" she mumbled and curled up against the tree that she was leaning onto. Her eyes were closed as the wind blew softly, caressing her (H/C) locks ever so lightly, begging for attention. The sun was already setting, but she would care less, no one was waiting for her anyways. "Too bad I can't stay here forever..." she let out a shaky breath and looked forward, gazing at the sun with half-lidded eyes.

As the last rays of the sun were disappearing over a crimson horizon, a small, metal disk fell from the cosmos and landed about ten feet away from where (Y/N) was sitting. It sizzled as it touched the ground, scorching the grass around it to a blackened dust. It cooled surprisingly quickly. Inhumanly quickly. What was it? Where did it come from? No one could really tell, but it was something inhuman, beautiful and mesmerizing. Something that a pure soul could never dream about.

The material was that of a silver substance, and appeared still to be molten, if only the thing hadn't twirled around like a coin on a table when it landed. A fine chain was attached to it, so silver, pristine and exact. It looked expensive. The patterns were intricate and detailed, forming strange symbols in some unknown, undiscovered scripture, each symbol embedded with an emerald. In the middle of the pendant was what appeared to be a sea serpent, and some sort of signature was scrawled across it.

(Y/N) looked up, tilting her head to the side. What was it? A shooting star? Being the curious person she was, the (H/C) haired female decided to go and investigate. She was the kind of person that didn't believe in supernatural things, but maybe, just maybe it would change, who knows? Stepping out of the forest, the girl walked down the hill, her locks swaying behind her as she did so. Soon enough, she ended up looking at the small object...a disk? She crouched down and examined the unknown object closely "what on the earth-" her eyes widened at the sight. Never in her life had she seen a thing as beautiful as this one.

The world was silent around her. Time seemed to freeze momentarily. The pendant had been approached. It was warm to the touch, just begging to be picked up. It was almost speaking to her, calling out her name. 'Touch me, touch me...' It appeared to whisper, almost reaching out to her with invisible arms, beckoning her in. 'Come, sweet girl... Take me...' The pendant rasped, wanting to be held by mortal hands.

As if in a trance, the young woman thrust her shaky hand forward. (Y/N) was mesmerized by this beautiful thing, it was breathtaking, gorgeous. Finally, her delicate digits made contact with its surface, her (E/C) hues gazing at the symbols. "Just what is this?" she let out a shaky breath, her mouth hanging open as she stared at the pendant.

As soon as her fingers touched the pendant, a sensation hit both her and the area around where she was with the pendant. It was warm and heated to the touch. The feeling was like being hit with a force field, some strong magnetic shove. Something in the world had been awoken, whether it was this world or the next. Something had changed. A black spot stood in static at the other end of the field. A person, maybe? It disappeared, popping up somewhere further away, like an electron. It did this repeatedly until it disappeared from view.

(Y/N) shook her head and moved backwards, staring at her hand, then at the pendant. "What just happened?" She asked herself, looking around for any clues, but to no avail. Sighing, she took the pendant and put it inside her bag. "Might as well take it home" she muttered walking away. The girl felt like she wasn't going to sleep anytime soon.
