sunoo ran hastily towards his home. he was late to attend the hotline, more specifically, he was late to attend park sunghoon.
being the owner of a service hotline and class president at the same time was a difficult task, but he usually didn't have any trouble with time management.
this time he just seemed to forget about his secret hobby. the class presidents of each homeroom had a meeting to decide the schedule for the spring welcoming party, and it took way longer than sunoo expected.
now he was out of breath, sweaty, and making up for all the cardio he skipped during PE class, all to go aid his heartbroken heartbreaker.
he arrived at his home and quickly ran up the stairs, yelling a quick "eat without me, i'll come down in a bit!" to his mother who was already waiting for him to have dinner.
the boy locked himself in his room taking out the secret phone he used for the hotline, realizing that he had 7 missed calls from sunghoon.
he took a deep breath and dialed the older boy's number, waiting for less than 5 seconds before he picked up.

sunoo repeated the exercise multiple times. he had to admit that at some point he started doing it more for himself than for sunghoon. he'd never seen this side of him, he never actually imagined the park sunghoon had feelings like any other person, so it was hard to deal with.
but he'd always been good at comforting others, he always said the right words to anyone who needed it, yet he felt like he was the one who needed advice at that moment. maybe it was his inner child refusing to help the one who broke his heart so long ago, but that couldn't be right, sunoo never held grudges.
perhaps one simply doesn't know how to comfort those they care so much about, and that could only mean one thing. it was extremely possible that, in a deep corner of his broken heart, sunoo never fell out of love for sunghoon.
