When Anya woke the next day, the first thing she saw was a pair of green orbs staring back at her. With a yelp, she jumped, her body rolling backwards until she fell off the bed. A sigh sounded from above her as she lay on her back, groaning at the impact. A head came into her line of sight, a lopsided him fixated onto his face. "Good morning, my little mate."

She stared up at him, unable to speak. Groaning, Zeus stood from the bed, his six foot frame towering over her as she remained sprawled on the floor. He held out a hand to her, she hesitated. She watched as he bent down and grabbed her hand, swiftly pulling her to her feet as if she weighed less than a bag of sugar. They stood before one another, the silence becoming tense. She had a lot of questions to ask, but just as she opened her mouth, the bedroom door was flung open to reveal a conflicted looking Hercules, his chest bare, her eyes drawn to the defined muscles. Zeus growled, picking up a shirt that lay on the ground, throwing it at his brother.

"What do you want?" He spat, eyes narrowed as Hercules glared right back at him, a stony look upon his face.

"Code Red, Alpha."

Suddenly, it was as if a war was going on, Zeus swiftly left the room, pushing past his Hercules, who flashed Anya a small smile before he took off after his brother, pausing only to close the door behind him. Dumbfounded by what had just happened, Anya sat on the bed, head reeling from shock.

Not even a full minute after the brothers had left, a knock sounded from the door, Anya only managing to mumble, "Come in," as the door opened to reveal Artemis and Athena, both dressed and ready, matching smiles on their faces. Anya frowned, something's wrong. "What's going on?" Artemis stepped towards the bed, taking her hand as she lead her out of the bedroom. In the hallway, people were running around, some shouting at others, some just watching the chaos before them. Anya stared at the scene in shock. Tired of not having any answers, she ripped her hand from Artemis' grasp, her body glued to the ground. "WHAT IS GOING ON?!"

Everyone paused, turning to look at the human. Her heart was racing once more, but not out of fear; she was angry. Artemis took a step towards her, "Anya-"

"Just shut up."

Everyone stared in shock as Artemis nodded her head, taking a step back as Anya glared back at her.

"Who are you people?!" She growled. "You take me, you bring me here, wherever this is," she paused, looking at the people who peered curiously at her. "No one will tell me what's going on, or why I'm here. You even call Zeus your Alpha. Is this some sort of cult?" She panted for breath, her lungs felt on fire as she felt the urge to cry. Once again, Artemis took a step towards her, but it was Anya who moved away from her touch. "Don't." Her voice trembled with such sadness that Artemis felt her heart beat quicken. A single tear rolled down Anya's cheek, which she ignored as she looked at Artemis. "I want to go home," she whispered.

Athena took a hold of Anya's hand, turning the smaller girl to face her. "You can go home." Artemis opened her mouth to protest, but Athena held her hand up to silence her cousin. "But right now, we need to protect you. There are bad people after this pack, and until you become one of us, we need to keep you safe." Anya let herself be lead through the crowds of people who all stared after her, as Athena and Artemis walked on either side. Leading the human into her bedroom, Artemis turned to face Anya.

"We are wolves."

Anya remained silent, taking a seat on the chair that stood by her desk. Athena shut the bedroom door behind them, turning to frown at Artemis who had taken a seat on the bed. "Way to go and give her heart attack, what the hell, Artemis?!" The older girl remained silent, keeping her eyes on Anya, who stared at the girls in shock. Athena sat next to Artemis, "We are also known as shifters."
