"I thought she already had a wolf? Why did you have to change her?"

Zeus rolled his eyes, rubbing a hand over his face before looking down at his cousin, dark rings underlining her eyes. Athena waited for his answer, sitting in the chair beside Anya's bed. He sighed, glancing towards his comatose mate, before looking back at Athena. "She was dying. What did you want me to do? We had to force her to change, otherwise she wouldn't be breathing right now."

Athena looked towards the girl who lay on the bed, the sheets pulled right up to her chin, her white hair spread out on the pillows. Zeus wanted nothing more than to join her, to hold her hand and wrap his arms around her. But under the strict instructions of the pack doctor, he was not to touch her. He clasped his hands together, sighing as he blinked. Athena watched him as he yawned, his green eyes dark as he rubbed them. "You should get some rest." Zeus immediately shook his head, opening his mouth to protest, but Athena cut him off. "She's been like this for the past two days, if she wakes, I will come get you. But you're no good to her like this." Zeus remained in his seat.

"I'm not leaving her alone. Not again."

Athena looked at him in silence, a blank expression on her face. "Zeus-"

She was cut off as Hercules burst through the door, his eyes flashing towards his cousin, before focusing on Anya, whose gentle breathing sounded through the room. "Bro...." He paused to catch his breath, his bare chest rising and falling rapidly. Zeus regarded him, eyes narrowed as his brother stared back at him with panicked eyes. "Iris said it'll happen tonight." Athena opened her mouth to speak, but was cut off as Zeus stood from his seat. His gaze returned to the peaceful Anya before looking up to meet the curious eyes of his cousin.

"She will turn tonight."

It was dark when Anya woke.

Numb. She felt numb. Opening her eyes, she already knew something was wrong. She sat up, pushing back her white hair from her eyes as she groaned, weak body wobbling as she sat up. "Damn."

She was alone. Yet it was as if the others were right by her side as she heard their voices travelling from downstairs, loud and clear. She frowned, slowly moving as she stood; her body felt light and new. New. She was new. Why?

Someone down in the kitchen slammed a door shut, and she flinched, letting out a small yelp of surprise as the sound left her ears ringing. Her mouth felt sore, and her eyes burned in the darkness as she looked at the room around her. How was she able to see everything as if it was still daylight? Her mouth throbbed as she took a few steps towards the door, her hand grasping the handle tightly. The sound of running water had her grabbing a hold of her head, biting her bottom lip to stop herself from screaming.

The pain subsided after a few seconds, only to be replaced with uncontrollable fury, hand reaching out to wrench the door open angrily. To her surprise, as she pulled on the door, the handle came off in her hand. "Stupid... Bloody door!" Not looking where she was aiming, with all her might, she threw the handle, only for it to fly across the hall and lodge itself in the door at the other end.

Mouth wide open, she was unable, to speak as the door was wrenched open to reveal a very angry looking Apollo. He stared at the doorknob that was stuck in his door, before turning his glare onto Anya. The glare did not remain on his face for very long, as he then looked at her in shock. "Luna!" Anya placed her hands over her ears.

"Please don't shout at me," She whispered, eardrums still ringing as the teenager stared at her. He muttered something incoherent, before rushing down the stairs, leaving a disoriented Anya behind. She clung to the banister, crying out in pain as her gums began to burn. She fell to the floor, fingers grasping at her hair as she screamed, falling to her knees. The sounds of feet running up the stairs, frantic voices and the tingling sensations on her arm told her that Zeus had arrived.
