When Helios woke the next morning, he felt as if a huge weight had been lifted from his chest. Turning his head, a smile appeared on his face as his eyes watched his mate sleep, her red haired fanned out across her pillow. Shifting his body closer to hers, he planted a small kiss on her cheek, before closing his eyes.

Sally made a small noise, her forehead scrunching as she frowned in her sleep, her body moving closer to Helios', her hands reaching for him. Helios laughed quietly, his arms moving to wrap around her body as they cuddled.

Their bliss was cut short as the bedroom door was slammed open to reveal his mother.

"Helios! How dare you!?" She screeched, Helios' body shooting up to cover Sally who was now awake. Awake and disgruntled.

Hera looked exactly like her son, wild red hair and deep brown eyes. Her personality, however, was the polar opposite. With her hands on her hips, she glared at her only child, her heart burning with disappointment.

Hidden behind Helios, Sally pulled the sheets up so that her body was covered, her eyes shifting to look at Hera with a look of confusion. "What is going on?"

Hera snapped, "Oh, are you the girl who has ruined my boy's innocence!?" Her voice raised with each word, Helios wincing as he rubbed a hand threw his hair.

"Mum, just calm dow-"

"CALM DOWN!?"

Sally clamped her hands over her ears as she flinched, Hera's eyes glaring down at her. Her tiredness was the only thing that was stopping her from shouting back at the woman who was to eventually become her mother in law. Unable to stop the grimace, she grunted as she wrapped the sheet tighter around her.

"You," Hera started, her finger pointing at the she-wolf before her. But she didn't get to finish her sentence as a tall man entered the room, Helios ducking his head. A pair of bright green eyes looked at him, before flashing over to peer at Sally, who's nostrils flared with anger as she looked at Hera, who stood with her hands on her hips, brown orbs still narrowed as she glared back at Sally.

"I told you to wait," Cronus muttered to his wife, his eyes flashing towards her as he ran his fingers through his blonde locks. He turned to his son, "We asked you to wait," He spoke gruffly, his eyebrows furrowing as Helios sighed.

Moving carefully so that his body was still covered, the healer bent down to grab his jeans, swiftly pulling them on as he stood to face his parents. "I am grown up enough to make my own decisions," He said, Sally's eyes widening as the atmosphere grew tense, Cronus' eyes narrowing.

Taking a step towards his son, he straightened up, his tall frame contrasting against his son's. "Are you challenging me, boy?"

Helios visibly gulped, Sally moving to rest on her knees, one hand tightly grasping the sheets around her, the other moving around frantically as she glared up at the man before her. "Hey, leave him alone, you bully. You can't stop us from being mates."

"Whilst he lives under our roof, we can," Hera spat, her finger pointing once more.

Cronus ignored the women, his eyes fixated on Helios. "Are you challenging me?" He repeated. Helios opened his mouth, but no words escaped, a sharp laugh escaping his father. "What? You can't stand up for yourself? You have to get your pretty little girl to defend you?" He smiled bitterly.

Sally's eyes narrowed once more, "Who are you calling-?"

"That's enough."

All eyes turned towards the doorway, four wolves simultaneously bowing their heads as Zeus stared back at them, his jaw clenched. Behind him, Anya shyly stood further back, her eyes watching Sally who flashed her a small smile.
