Artemis was enjoying the adrenaline that ran through her body. She was far from growing tired, even in her small wolf form, she was yet to feel her strength diminish, her wolf barking in excitement as she fought against numerous wolves.

However, her luck ran short as she was fighting her fifth opponent as three other wolves surrounded her. Finishing off her enemy wolf was not a hard task, however, when the surrounding wolves decided to pounce, she was caught off guard.

Crashing to the ground, she growled as she dug her claws into the wolf that towered over her, her upper lip pulled back into a snarl. The she-wolf on top of her snapped its teeth in Artemis' face, who turned her head to the left, and bit at the leg that pinned her to the ground.

A yelp escaped the she-wolf, Artemis using the distraction to her advantage as she shoved the wolf from her body, making the kill swift. However, a low growl from behind her had her shivering. She recognised the scent, her eyes widening as she turned around to face the two males wolves that towered above her.

Seeing the man who had torn the pack apart for the first time in many years, had her heart racing.

Her mind probed towards his, but she almost slapped herself for forgetting; he was no longer a part of their family. His huge wolf form took a step towards her, her wolf whimpering as she took a step away from him. The wolf next to him made a move towards her, but her brother let out a warning growl, the wolf freezing on the spot, his eyes turning to Artemis curiously.

Artemis stared into her brother's eyes, a low whine escaping her, as her tail whipped around her, her shackles raised. Her jaw trembled as a snarl escaped her.

A warning. He wasn't stupid, he understood completely. But that didn't stop the pain washing over him as he watched his only sister take a step away from him, turning on her heel and running away from him.

She didn't look back.

Iris had remained at the pack house. Several wolves had been taken to her, in the kitchens, Helios having abandoned the hospital in order to fight alongside his Alpha. After declaring the war as present, Eos had returned to join her sister in healing injured wolves. Most were minor, the wolves being able to go back onto the battlefield.

However, both the sisters weren't prepared for the next wolf who was sent their way.

The she-wolf was carried by two fellow males, her brother alongside. Iris looked as Apollo rushed towards her, his bloodied hands raking through his hair as he stared at the elder wolf before her. "Please..." He breathed, his forehead creasing as he watched the two males place his sister on the table, Eos immediately moving forward to push the hair from Athena's face as the wolves left the room. "Save her," Apollo begged.

Iris nodded her head, "We'll do our best," She promised, guiding him towards the door. "You need to go back out there and fight for your pack."

Apollo stared at the elder she-wolf. "I can't leave her! Are you crazy!?"

Eos peered at him through her glasses, "She's not as crazy as I," She said, her voice emotionless as she pressed her index and middle fingers into Athena's throat, checking for a pulse.

"Shut your fucking mouth," Apollo spat, his eyes wide as he glared at the witch who rose an eyebrow at him.

"Listen here, boy," She sneered, her eyes narrowing, ignoring the warning look from her sister. "You can either get your ass out there, and let me save her, or you can stay here and argue with me, like a little bitch," She watched as Apollo frowned. "Which is it going to be?"
