After Anya's revelation, the next few hours were a frenzy. Zeus had lost his temper once more, snapping at his mate several times, shouted a few profanities at his brother - who had no regrets shouting back in return - and after moving the bodies to the pack morgue, Zeus locking himself away in his office to cool off, Anya was left lying in a hospital bed as Helios took care of her leg.

"It's a deep wound, it'll take about a week to heal properly. I'd stay off it for a while."

Anya turned to look at the red haired male before, a strained smile on her face, a dark look overshadowing her features. Great, now there was no chance of seeing her parents.

As if he would let you anyway.

Anya rolled her eyes at her wolf's sarcastic tone, automatically blocking the she-wolf from her thoughts. Instead, she fixated her gaze on the man who raised a red thick eyebrow at her. "The Alpha will want-"

"No!" Anya blurted, "Don't tell him yet. I need some time to myself." Helios, fully aware of the argument between the Alpha couple, was reluctant. He wasn't sure who to answer to. Noticing his hesitance, Anya begged, "Please. Just give me a few hours."

Helios stared at her, before finally giving in, a sigh escaping his lips. "Fine. But if I get into trouble, I'm blaming you," He grinned at her, his expression growing serious as he looked down at her leg. Deep puncture marks lined the pale skin of her shin, her foot sore and swollen. Helios had already rubbed some cream onto her leg, and although her skin had started to stitch back together, she had only just connected to her wolf; the broken bones would take longer to heal.

Helios nodded his head towards her, already working on securing her lower leg in a bandage. Anya winced, hissing in pain, to which Helios flashed her an apologetic look as he continued. Hands grasping at the bed, her knuckles turning white as she bit her lip, Anya breathed through the pain. And although it did not hurt nearly as much as when her uncle had his jaws locked around her leg just a few hours before, tears still welled in her eyes.

A knock sounded from the hospital door, Hercules smiled as he poked his head around the door. In his hand, he held a bouquet of lilies, a large pink ribbon wrapped around the middle. Anya almost laughed at the sight of the manliest man who carried the most feminine present she'd ever saw. Cheeks red, blue eyes staring at her, Hercules closed the door behind him, moving to sit in the chair next to her bed. "What's up, Sol?"

Helios spoke quickly, repeating what he had already said to the Luna, Hercules nodding as he listened before looking over at Anya. Her hair was thrown into a messy bun, large bags under her eyes, her face pale and weary. Helios left the room after checking her over once more, leaving Hercules to speak.

"He didn't mean it, you know?"

Anya snorted, rolling her eyes. "It's not my fault he murdered my uncle." Hercules stared at her as she threw her arms up in frustration, her mouth opening to rant angrily. He looked at her in awe, a small smile on his face. So beautiful.

But she's not ours.

Hercules frowned; I know.

Anya turned to look at him, "Are you even paying attention!? God, you're just like him! Why does no-one care about what I want!?" She groaned, her anger suddenly diminishing, a sudden wave of sadness washing over her. She leant over, resting her elbow on her thigh, her head resting on her hand, large fat tears running down her cheeks, quiet sobs escaping her mouth. Hercules put her flowers on the bedside table, instantly rushing forwards to comfort her, his arm wrapping around her shoulders to pull her into a hug.
