You have been friends with Kuriko since 2 years ago, yet she still going around with her wheelchair, because her legs... Are crippled. You saw her crawling towards you trembling and crying. You bent down to hug her then carried her to her mother, Megumi. Apparently, Megumi has Kuriko's wheelchair again. "Megumi, did you steal Kuriko's wheelchair again?" You asked sternly. "What? I didn't..." She looked at her daughter, who you carried, burying her face into your chest. "Don't lie to me, I knew that wheelchair is somewhere in your library!" You stated. "Okay... Here you go." Megumi walks away. A few moments later she came back with your friend's wheelchair. You carefully sat Kuriko to her wheelchair. "Honestly! What's your purpose of stealing her wheelchair?" You sighed. "I... I want to check if something's wrong with it or not.." Megumi said. "Well, okay if you said so." You nod, and smiled at Kuriko. "Can I go home now? It's getting late." You look at Kuriko. "Huh..? Leaving already?" She sadly asked, her white eyes staring at you. "Yeah... I'll be back tomorrow, okay?" You pat her head. "Okay, bye.." the girl sadly smiled.

It's been two years since you encounter Kuriko. You were on a search for... Something. Then you saw a weird looking monster crawling towards you. She then introduced herself to you, and then you become good friends with her. She also introduced you to her mother Megumi, who you think was rokurokubi, because her neck is long like crazy.

One day, when you were back to see Kuriko, you were shocked to see her struggling to stand up by holding on the tables. She then finally stood up. "Yes!!! I did it!!" Kuriko cheered to herself. You were stunned, gazing at your friend before she realizes you looking at her. "Y/n! Y/n! Look! I'm standing up!!" Kuriko shouts from the distance happily laughing. You can't help but smile. You ran towards her and hugged her. "Kuriko! You can stand up?! Amazing!" You slightly laughed at Kuriko. "Yes! I know! I've been practicing to stand up since 2 weeks ago! And today I'm going to learn how to walk!" Kuriko said, determined. You were surprised, yet happy. Learning how to stand up after decades of being cursed? That's crazy! "You.. what? Wow!" Kuriko looks at you smiling. "Wait... I wanna go walk to that chair.." she said. She tried to walk, slowly and steadily. But then..
THUD!
"Kuriko!" You screamed, running towards Kuriko. She fell and scraped her knee. "Are you okay?!" The girl looked at you, whimpering in pain while crying. "It's okay.." you hugged your friend. You then looked at her left knee, her dark red blood oozing from it. "Oh no..." You sighed, carrying her to her home.
"Kuriko! What happened?!" Megumi ran towards you and Kuriko. "She fell..." You said. "From what?" You froze. "U-uhm... She fell off... Her wheelchair.. I found her on the floor" you lied. "Oh no.. I'll go get the first aid kit." Megumi says. Later the lady came back with a white box. Presumably the first aid kit. She then softly heals her daughters injury. You waited as Kuriko sat Infront of her mom.

A year had past, Kuriko has been doing well. She even started to walk to quite far distances. "Y/n! Y/n! Look! I did it! I did!!" Kuriko cheerfully exclaimed, after she succeeded walking towards a tree. You smiled happily at the progress of your best friend.

A week later, you were sitting on a chair reading a book you borrowed from megumi's library. You then heard a knock on your door. "Coming." You answered, opening the door. You were surprised to see Kuriko standing still in front of you. "Kuriko! You can... Walk this far?!" You said amazed, you knew your house was quite far from Kuriko and megumi's. "Yes! I know! Awesome, right?!" Kuriko chirped. "Oh! Come in! Come in!" You let your friend in.
You were so happy to see Kuriko walk. She even said to you she wanted to try running next time. She really loves challenges.
